Yes ... as long as the motor is "stock" to big an exhaust, would be more of a lost than a benefit. But if you plan on "modding it" ... that's another story. :)
No problem thanks for the insight ... to be brief ... Jounce for the front ... Torsion Bars and Bump Stops are in the rear?? Resting on either is bad news ... so I got that part right. :)
And ... what are these "Key" things for the front T-Bars??? My only experiance with T-Bars was when I...
I have no idea what a Canbus is?? PT Cruiser term for the 2003 on up ... seem to be PIA's?? Ours is is 2001 so we missed all that "crap." :)
Aww so the "Auto On" and "HID's" can really be an issue ... stuff I did not know?? Looks like the "Retrofitsource" will get a challenge when I start...
Oh I don't doubt it ... I don't have the time or patience for the Gravity bleeding thing.
Mosty likely an air bubble is "trapped" in the ABS pump?? I did read many years ago that cold happen and it could be "problematic" to clear?? Still ... there is always "Plan B."
Motive Power Bleeder at...
Not an expert here ... but in general, if you go to big on the exhaust, you'll lose torque down load. Exhuast is sized to engine capacity. So if the 6.2 is bigger than the 5.2 exhaust ... that's why.
Hmmm back on pointe ... I belive you can check the O2 sensors with a "DVOM" look for voltage fluctuations rapidly .... ECM should try and maintain a 14.7 AFR. If it's slow to respond a bad O2 sensor(S) could be the culprit??
Not saying it's not bad cats but ... it couldn't hurt to check the...
Oh most likely you didn't but I did not not understand it?? But now I do. :)
Most likely I'll be using the Retrofitsource for my HID stuff. And I often see "Canbus Adaptors" to cancel this or that or stop that from happening etc etc.
The whole point of "learning from others" is to not have...
Well now I know ... so thanks there. The auto turn on and the headlights and the ballast for the "HID's" burning out??
What's the deal there ... is the auto headlights ... that big a deal???
Gravity bleeding ... can't hurt but if there is a leak "somewhere??" I don't think that will find it???
All your gonna do is burn thru brake fluid, I'm gonna "guess" there should be a gasket between the "MC" and the "Brake Booster" did you install it???
Here's a clip on an "issue" with the...
LOL already did! :)
I saw the reversing the bolts on the rear shocks thing and I was like what??? Then I saw the pics and saw how close to the shocks the threads were and thought "Oh ... that's why!
No question on reversing them being the way to go but curious as to how you knew they could be...
Uh yeah! Where did the White Face Gauges come from to start??
And this bit "LED white stripe lighting for my gauge lighting." What's the deal there?? Details please. :)
I had heard that with "ABS" vehicles if the pump gets air in it, they can be a bear to bleed. The "Dealership" had no answers??? Hmm that's odd?? At this point ... you've changed a whole bunch of stuff ... to much too soon. So now even more variables to contend with.
So ... that sucks ...
Aww that looks like the kit I will need! Two questions at the moment ... do I need a "Camber Kit' to dial in 1 degree of negative camber and is the adjustable rear panhard bar "required" with that kit???
It's a situation you want to "avoid" the rear axle bangs off the rear bump stop. Shocks and springs work together by absorbing the upward energy from bumps, if you hit a bump and you don't have enough suspension travel in the rear ... the process gets halted and the energy gets "transferred to...
LOL ... 26's??? I'm still stuck in the 17 to 19 inch range. :)
But the "Auto Ride" clearance stays the same with a low ... that sounds cool. But if it's dropped ... what did you change?? The rear springs would have to go?? And the wheels notwithstanding ... the ride quality is still the same...
I think I'm getting that?? AWD not 4x4 ... I can work with that. "PPV" I think I'll go in that direction but want to keep the "Auto Ride" stuff ... quirky complicated and kinda weird but ... pretty cool. :)
It kind of an odd vehicle for me ... usually when I see one close up ... it's got Red...
Oh I like that one! Specs and what size wheels and tires?? And sigh ... this time I have to keep the "WAF" (Wife Acceptance Factor) in mind ... so how does your ride. Apparently ... wife's don't really care about "Transit Response and high Lateral G's" ... who knew???
I would'nt think any kit would have that happening?? Usually the "Free Travel Mod" gives the rear axle "more room" to travel but if your setup "currently has "Zero" travel??? Something is not right??? Lot's of experts here .. you should outline what you've done, they can help. :)
In a nutshell...
