Well that's certainly not helpful! Nonetheless it would not hurt to check all the Caliper slider bolts to make sure they are properly lubed.:
Unfortunately .. it's not darting hard to one side under braking but checking all the slider bolts ... can't hurt. :)
Hey ... I've used that stuff before for general cleaning and stuff! Apparently an Auto Parts store is not a good place to buy it! I paid at least that much for a lot less!
Any chance you know how to get rid of the "Chestnut color on the water reservoir bottle?? I read about someone doing it a...
Round hole in the bolt head with three tabs, seems to be made of aluminum.
No front plate but the bracket is still there. In NV the law requires a front plate but it's been mentioned when I was pulled over for other issues and on one occasion I was specifically targeted because of no front...
Absolutely ... "no disagreement here" frankly ... I think the "TC" on these things is kinda slow. :) If your quick with the steering wheel and the throttle ... you can beat it!
Making a hard left ... I thought for a sec ... the brakes were being applying?? But I got the wheels pointed straight...
Most likely ... they have never seen a "Vapor Lock" situation before???
To be fair seen I have been dealing with FI motors ... I have not seen that issue either??? But the "popping sound" from the rear?? The only thing that makes sense is an "Evap Issue" and the vehical "said" that was the...
Well I would hardly say this thread makes you look dumb?? I'm impressed with your ability to "troubleshoot!"
"Tackle" one of these issues at a time. If you've calibrated/replaced the "Knock Sensor" and it's still pulling timing??? That's not right??? Maybe it's the PCM/ECU?? Can you just...
I'll defer to the clip on the Evap system I linked! One of those "Black Box" mysteries for me, that as long as it works ... I don't care. :)
But that said the "Popping noise" and you say you always fill it up ... it sounds like an "issue/failure" with that system (Evap) to me???
Well there is certainly no harm in "walking away" when you come up against a wall.
Yes ... yes they do! If the system "thinks the vie is outta control ... it cuts power and applies brakes to regain stability.
Most likely you would not be checking "stuff" that you don't realize is there. :)...
Hmm, well the dealer has had it three days and can't find anything wrong??? Did they happen to add in "They all do that." :)
But on a serious note ... did you happen to take note of the fuel level in the tank when the issue happens?? 1'2 a tank or more and could be vapor lock??? I've never had...
Hopefully someone can chime in and confirm?? It looks right to me but I've not looked at that system?? A viable Plan B ... print out that picture and show your guy.
WOW that is "seriously" messed up!! As close as I came to that ... would have been had I chosen to work on my neighbors 5.4. I did some research and saw "broken Spark Plug Extractors" coming up a lot??? Apparently with those motors "Broken Spark Plugs" is expected??? I declined doing the job. :)...
I think this is the kit you need?? It would be an upgrade to the stock bushings which are softer, so even new they would have more give. You can call Summit or Energy Suspension for more info. :)...
Just last night on HWY 50 came as close as I ever want, to hitting a freaking Horse!!! 4 lane Highway and I saw a Ford on the opposite of the road going gotta slow?? So I lifted and a freaking horse shot the gap????
Fortunately I was doing about 55 and not 70 ... stupid horse!
I'm stuck on the dual TPS?? Have I missed something??? That aside ... it's a enthusiast forum and near as I can tell ... the best way to tick people off is to proclaim that "this" choice sucks whatever "this" may be?? :)
Intermit "issues" are some of the worst problems to deal with. And those...
What are and size are those wheels and tires??? And ... I just that LE the Sheriff's Departments are using those out here (NV)??? The NHP seems to use the Ford Edge ... creepy looking things in NVHP Colors ... or maybe it's just me?? I freak whenever I see the Ford Badge on a White Edge!
Sigh 22's are factory ... how things have changed! I'm thinking 18's or 20's for a street setup with a 2/3 drop.
We have real winters out here (well not by Minnesota standards) here snow ice and stuff but lots of "dirt roads and stuff" everywhere. Our 2004 Denali is certainly not a "Rock...
If you want to save the security bolts?? You need to find out what that weird looking security bolt (head is) is?? I've jacked mine up (two of those bolts) they seem to be kinda soft .... aluminum maybe???
I'm gonna take a drill to them this weekend ... tired of looking at that thing.
Hmm well ... they are not Sport Cars ... but having said that ... it sounds like "something" is just not right??? Back to basics ... put her up on 4 sturdy jack stands, with the wheels off and inspect and tug on stuff.
The sway bar ends on the rear suspension sounds like a likely suspect...
