how it the heck are you guys getting the norcal bump stops in. i have them just couldn't figure out how to install them. Then again i was in a hurry.
truck looks good though
i looked at there kits also. i even emailed them before the NNBS kit was ava. i looked at the turbo for the same reason you are. COST
I ended up just buying a 2006 dodge 2500. so i now get to leave the wifes tahoe alone. (for now)
Honestly if it was me, I would get rid of the AFM all together if I was in your shoes. Look at Texas Speed. They have a whole kit put together. You can even change the cam. I would give them a call and let them know what your intentions are and how you use the truck.
My 2012 has had the afm...
well i hit the wall of the garage with the front drivers fender.
Just knew the wife would be the first to do that. Thank god for a really low deductible. going to drop it off monday. I hate when i get in a hurry. Hell the truck wasn't even running
I would say that i get 16 MPG in Vegas stop and go traffic and around 21-22 driving to Northern Cali. I am very happy with the # as i didn't buy it for that but i won't complain about it either. My MPH went up when i got my tune and turned off the AFM-DoD or what ever they want to call it.
But...
also think about it; in the long run it ill be cheaper to repair the GM. there is so many parts that can be swapped between different models. Plus there will always be more of the parts in the used cat.
This was one of the main reasons i feel i will keep buying GM.
mounted my P3 in that same place. also secured it with the screws that came with it. but i didn't drill into the lower cover. i used a screw that was already there
