    well sounds like i may just have to get some stock replacements then. I'm not going for looks, mostly wanted better light output. my lenses are all pretty cloudy, so the either need buffing or replacing.

    Does anyone have any recommendations for some good aftermarket headlights. I saw some projectors in one of the ads on here, dashz, just wondering the quality. I would like something a little better than stock. Or is HID retro pretty much the only way to go?

    Do you happen to have the wiring diagram for putting in a condensor fan? I'm assuming I will need one relay to run the power through for the factory fan. Where do I tap in for the clutch activation.

    Took a look, seems clear. I'm going to pull the blower and clean out in there and get the coil cleaned as well. Probably tackle it next weekend.

    I thought about doing just the aux fan also. I also came across these: http://www.cfrperformance.com/8_HIGH_PERFORMANCE_ELECTRIC_RADIATOR_COOLING_FAN_p/hz-1001-8.htm Seems like a descent flow rate for a small fan. And not a lot of amp draw.

    yep, a good thing. It will be a great road trip car. We got 19mpg round trip, with some mountain climbs in there. So can't complain about that either :)

    hey guys, so today i turned off the recirculate on the ac and it seemed the ac blew colder and harder. where is the inlet for recirculation? i want to make sure nothing is blocking it up. thanks, matt

    I read through the write up, seems like a solid choice. i'll start acquiring parts soon. I also think the previous owner put in a colder tstat, so iI will swap that out as well at the time. Temps seem to hover around the 170 ish point. I will probably just go back to OEM temp.

    Hey guys, I saw the write up with the Mark VIII Fan, and that looked pretty good, but do the 05+ electric fans bolt right up to a OBS tahoe? From what I have read they will to the NBS 2000+, but couldn't find confirmation that they are a direct fit to the 2000 and older OBS tahoes...
