    I have 07 Tahoe LTZ with 112k miles. In last 20k miles i changed oil level sensor twice. Last one lasted only 5k miles. Im thinking bypassing sensor with splicing those two wires. Does anyone know is that all is needed for making ECU think level is ok or do i have to install resistor

    Well if is detonation / pining noise, than try using 89 or 91 octane fuel, thats only fix without retuning it, if you gonna retune, you eill have to lower your timing and more likly lost some power. So best bet is get better fouel and you will even get better gaa milage

    Im having same problem, i found out its in 1 st gear. If you try shif into 2nd gear and take off it wont be that noise no more, but if you take of in drive or 1st gear it will make that rattling noise but it goes away when tranny shift in 2nd by it self Try and let us know
