Thanks for the feedback. I am a resident of MN and purchased my Yukon at a MN dealership. Unless I’m incorrect, I’m almost certain I would need to pursue lemon-law execution in MN and not MI. What is really concerning is if I were to go through the process to refund or replace, I have no idea if...
GM Corporate promised reimbursement on my rental but it’s on me to book and pay up front. Makes me very nervous as I’m looking at likely a few thousand in rental costs.
Good question and one on which I need clarification. I’ll ask and report back the next time speak with the service advisor. One (hopefully true) shining point is GM Corporate seems to be on the ball promising full reimbursement for “Trip Interuption” coverage for all my expenses as well as...
Man, this scares the hell out of me. My Yukon stranded me approx 400 miles from home yesterday and my only option to get home was to rent a UHaul (traveling with a truck full of guns and a hunting dog so flights were out). If I couldn’t have picked up that UHaul, I was ready to buy a car off the...
I took delivery on Feb 15 2021 but unsure of build date. I’ll have to report back on that if I ever get my truck back.
Update: the dealer said all lifters are being replaced and a rod is bent. They’re putting the order in on parts but said it’s likely going to be a several week to one-month...
Well it happened to me: my 2021 Yukon Denali 6.2L has what I’m 99.999% sure is lifter failure at 13,000 miles leaving me stranded in the UP of Michigan, almost 400 miles from home. I’m across the street from a Chevy/GMC dealership, thank god, and will find out my fate in the morning. For those...
I saw this posted in another completely unrelated thread and thought you all may find benefit as I did and wanted to share here where it would be noticed:
I tried this yesterday and yes, it works! You start the vehicle as normal but keep holding the start button until the notice that auto...
Don't know if this works or not I don't have a 2021 (yet) to try it on....
I tried this yesterday and yes, it works! You start the vehicle and keep holding the start button until the notice that auto shutoff is disabled.
Huh. I think I’ve got this same issue on my Denali. I’ve got a Valentine V1 radar detector plugged in to that outlet and it will power off and back on when the door is opened. Now that I think about it, I’m not sure if it’s off with the door open and back on when closed or if it cycles through...
I had that exact same issue on my Yukon (the light projected down where you swipe your foot to open the rear hatch). It leaked and was full of condensation. Covered under warranty and fixed quickly. No issues in the past 8k miles since I noticed it around 2k.
Just noticed this in the 2022 guide:
Deletion:
(IOT) 10.2" diagonal GMC Infotainment System with Navigation
I wonder how that’s going to work with the new “Google Built-in” infotainment system. Force you to use Google Maps for Nav? I can’t think of any more ways we could possibly have...
Here is a cut and paste from my original thread about ordering a 2021 Denali:
“Regarding the Adaptive air ride suspension, I test drove one with and one without back to back. A few findings:
When I first drove the Denali without adaptive air suspension I was concerned that it rode every bit as...
My 2021 Denali has the turn signal audible clicking go out both left and right. I just had it at the dealer yesterday to get a dash rattle corrected and forgot to ask about this weird glitch.
@Ronyukon Thanks! The ride was noticeably better on the 20” rims. I bought these rims and tires off Craigslist from a guy who did a swap to custom rims. I only had them mounted in the winter and switched back to the 22’s in the spring/summer. I plan to run a set of dedicated snow tires (Blizzak...
My Denali with the air suspension stays lowered (at least driving forward) up to 15 MPH and if I shut it off before going over 15 MPH it stays lowered. Not sure about reverse but guessing that it would be the same. If you somehow triggered normal ride height, would it crush your roof while...
