Interesting point. What is the hour limit by chance? 8 hours? Considering round trip, really its a 4 hour radius?
I also pulled up a map if Class I freight rail companies in the US. Funny to see how rail is basically owned by a single operator depending on where in the country you are. An...
I've been told to specifically ask for screen shot/picture of VINVIEW (the tool they use to track it).
Random question, do all Tahoes/Yukons get shipped via rail first? I'd assume not. Do we know which areas are served via truck only?
Using Chevy's inventory, i can see that 6 Tahoes are "in...
I believe 4B00 means its been "Bayed". Prepped for shipping but not ready to ship. Probably waiting on other vehicles heading to a similar destination. Where are you taking delivery?
Did yours get built? Mine did and I found out on 5/18, VIN and window sticker almost immediately. No ETA on delivery yet. Here are my basic specs in case you wanna compare:
Tahoe LT 4WD
LM2
Max Tow
LT Signature Package (includes lux package and max tow)
Second row captains chairs
Final...
The PPV came w/ 20" steelies. They will fit over the larger brakes and rumor is that they also fit in the spare tire well and could work as a full sized spare. (one thing to note, is that the PPV does use slightly smaller diameter tires. 275/55R20 113V vs 275/60R20 115T)
Mine is a Duramax too and also got the window sticker right after production. What trim and other options did you pick?
Can you also outline the time between window sticker and your delivery ETA? Trying to estimate my delivery based on your experience. :D
Hey all, i might have tracked down some part numbers for a '21 PPV. Unsure if these are 100% correct and hopefully could have someone validate. I dug around and found out that the RPO code for the PPV suspension is Z56. Also found these numbers:
If the above is correct, using fitment codes...
Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead, but I have 2 questions. How do you know those are the PPV shocks? Also do you have part numbers for the PPV springs?
Googling my VIN, i was able to find my order on my dealership's website. It had the window sticker.
Also I went on Chevy's Inventory website, and basically filtered by my exact order. That also pulled up my order and VIN and it too had my window sticker.
Basically the thread title. I got my VIN last week but with all the tracking sites/services down, I'm in the dark on when it'll be shipped/delivered.
With my VIN I was able to find my car in Chevy's and my dealer's website inventory. Both saying "In Transit". My window sticker is also...
Thanks for the clarification. Interesting rumor at that!
Do vehicles at Midlothian sit for QC (like in the case of your harness) as well as wait for chips/features? That could explain the whole "last in, first out" sort of queue people claim is happening.
Would be useful for those who are stuck at Midlothian to state what make/model/engine/options they have. Might see some correlations on what specs/features/options are holding up delivery.
Anecdotally, it looks like more higher trim (Denali, Premier, High Country) vehicles are stuck there...
