Mine isn't like that. I have a cat and an 02 sensor right before the muffler on the one side. I have a 6.0 motor maybe that's why. Just looks like it isn't gonna be easy to do mine. I would take a pic, but I can't get a good one without a lift.
I've also heard that the longtubes increase sound a lot. Enough to have the neighbors on you about it lol. 45 horses is a lot and definitely something you will feel! Is there a reason to delete the cats? I mean wouldn't that be a problem getting inspection?
Anyone else with this random misfire code? Has anyone resolved theirs yet? I had my cam and crank sensor synchronized at a shop the other day. Still has a misfire though. Shop told me it was fixed and it obviously isn't. I think it runs a slight bit better since, but the rough idle is still...
I wanted the corsa too, but it costs way too much. You have to get the whole cat back system with corsa. I went with Black Widow cause it sounds pretty similar to the corsa and has zero drone from what everyone says. Plus you can buy just the muffler.
I guess it is the cats. They look strange on these trucks. I ended up buying the Black Widow Venom 250 muffler and the y pipe they have as well. Hopefully it Isn't too much of a pain for the place to install.
Black widow isn't chambered. Its shaped as an hourglass internally. That's where it gets the distinct sound from. I'm about to order my black widow exhaust but I'm confused about the fitment. Anyone have any idea what those canisters are on the exhaust right before the muffler? It doesn't have a...
Ok my pockets won't allow all that at the moment. So for now I'm purchasing a black widow muffler to get put it. I was womdering if I should purchase the y pipe that's also for sale on their site. Does anyone know if that would make the installation easier for the muffler shop at all?? And...
I'm running the halogen bulbs that they came with for now. I haven't had the time to get new bulbs yet. So busy with Xmas shopping for all these kids I got lol. I'm gonna try to remember to take some pics tomorrow so I can send them to you. I really think you got a defective pair. Respond to...
Really? I think you might've gotten a defective set. Mine have perfect projectors in them. No dark spots whatsoever and great light coverage. I mean anything can happen during manufacturing though. You would think they would've tested them and caught it though. I will say that set on that truck...
I get all the points that you make and I'm not trying to argue with anyone about it. I'm far from a teenager that just wants a cool looking light. I'm over 40 and I've used hid lighting with halogen projectors since they fist came out. I've never once experienced any issues with using the 35...
Why would that effect gas mileage??? You're only leveling the truck. That's like you lowering your truck will make you gain a ton of mpg lol....don't think either is possible
I'm currently in the market for one as well. Think I might see if I can find that GM intake online. Does the stock airbox bring in cold air from the bottom of the box somewhere? Like is there a tube that leads to another area? I haven't had a chance to even open my airbox yet since I just bought...
Wow so the box didn't even have a name brand? That makes me nervous to buy them unfortunately. Auto dynasty is only the distributor as far as what I get from the link.
I understand that they are halogen projectors, but they work just fine with hids. I've never had a problem putting them in that type of headlight housing.
And why is that? I've put hids in other cars that didn't have hids stock and they worked just fine. They have a good cutoff so not to blind people. It ain't like its a regular light housing thats gonna scatter light everywhere.
