Another question.
It appears that I have lost a 1/2” front height over the OEM Z71 shocks with my zone 2” spacer.
Previously I had a very slight Cali-lean and I noticed today the front is now level with the rear. The 5100s are on the “stock height” and I have a zone off-road 2” spacer on...
The ko2 was a HUGE improvement over my KO1. However, no where near as good as these duratrac tires. It should be noted thr duratrac tires do have about 30% more road noise...a very slight hum.
I got them installed yesterday. Ended up keeping them at factory height and using my existing zone off road 2” leveling block under the shocks in place.
The ride is a 100% improvement over stock. Combined with thr new duratrac d rated tires I’m very pleased.
For the record I went through...
13 tahoe z71. Running duratrac 285 65 18 on factory z71wheels.
Zone 2” leveling kit. It goes under the shock absorber. Rear is at stock heght.
No rubbing in the front and only rubs in the rear at sharp angles
Two questions:
1. What position do i set thr front bilsteins to if i keep...
I have had mine in once or twice for warranty work and it never came up. Granted, I did not have major engine or transmission work performed either.I was just curious if there have been any issues.
Is there anyway to have my daytime running lamps on with the headlights? I remember doing a mod like this on my 2007 and 2004 GMC Sierra’s. If memory serves me right, I simply install a diode on one or two of the relays on the relay block.
I’m curious what can be done with the newer model...
I came across this and was curious if anyone has been affected or if there’s any truth considering I have a black bear tune.

Significantly improved cooling abilities, the rotor itself is slightly heavier than the factory unit. It is also Trude to a higher tolerance than a standard rotor. I noticed an immediate difference in the smoothness of the braking...
Not at all. I have a 2013 Z71 4wd and installed Raybestos PPV rotors and the Hybrid H3 pads. What a hell of an improvement over factory. Tight pedal, zero brake fade; quite impressive. Ordered from Summit for around $375
You need to do a search for blackbook values, put your vin # in and your state/zip. That will precisely give you what dealers are paying based on auction prices +/- 5-8%.

I can tell you this much, when my GMEPP is approaching the end date, I plan to purchase another extended warranty through Vehicle one at least a year prior to the GMEPP expiration, regardless of the cost. I was VERY well taken care of by them, my father inlaw was and still continues to be with...
I also forgot to add that I purchased an extended warranty for my Tahoe from Black Pontiac and saved well over 50% compared to the markup of the local dealers. It is a legit GMEPP plan as I just used it.
I beg to differ.
My wife's parent's sold us a Ford Explorer with 70k for pennies on the dollar. Maintenance every 2k and VERY well maintained. But, it's a ford and it's a POS. Literally.
Her dad had an extended warranty through Vehicle One AKA Ally. The same folks who serviced GMPP...
Hey guys. I'm curious to know if the 13 inch rotors that are standard on the PPV Tahoe's will fit non-PPV Tahoes?
While trolling Amazon, I came across the AC Delco PPV front and rear rotors and couldn't help but wonder if they would fit.
Has anybody happened to explore this possibility?
The dealer checked them at 10k, again at 15k and right before Discount tire warrantied out the 275's that were cupped. I also had 5 alignments done by the dealer, and checked just after I put the 285s on. No problems according to them; also, I did not see any fluid leaking from the shocks...
http://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/tire-inflation-the-ultimate-answer.111671/page-2
I found a post indicating a pressure range of 10%. ie: if the tires are underinflated, the temperature would be less than 10%, underinflated, over 10%.
I have mine at 48psi now. After about 15 miles of...
