    ' blue streak ' from O'Reilly auto. I gotta ask, why not oem? Oem mafs are 75 bucks on rock auto and about 13 bucks more than that blue streak from O'Reilly.... Sooo... Get it there if you can and you won't have to drop stealership prices.

    Yeah I know... But at the same time I acknowledge that tolerances weakened over the 13 years of its life..... So I figure these allow some 'error'.... I figure 50 bucks for a full set of these gaskets and some proper bolts, I feel like it should be good for quite a long time.

    Tech called me and installed a known good purge valve and it isn't blowing the fuse anymore. However it's still shifting hard. So, we're going to remove my aftermarket maf sensor and install a Delco. That's on order and will be here tomorrow. Of course my dumbass tossed the original. :mad:

    Took the burb to the shop today to have them figure it out....whats interesting is that the shifting, albeit terrifyingly hard, actually seems way better after the sensor replacements.     All the solenoids should be brand new. And it's not just 1-2 it's all upshifts. I did a bunch of research and the maf, map, and TPS sensors work in conjunction with the tcm on when to shift and how much pressure is needed to shift.     So on my 2500 I've got a pretty significant knock at slow speeds while turning with an incline. I've already replaced the lbj and ubjs. New CVs, and got new tires and recently balanced and aligned. I can sometimes feel the knock right under my feet.... So I'm thinking it's time to do the pitman...

    Ive been using wagner oex pads on all brake jobs lately, and Raybestos anti rust coated rotors. No complaints and all are available at rock auto.
