    4l60E slipping/being erratic.

You should scan for codes, it could be the valve body or solenoids. 4L60E is a great transmission, but the band and clutches wear out. If your transmission was rebuilt, then it should not be acting up. If you personally did the trans filter, how did it look? What was on the pan magnet? I...

*fixed* ANOTHER fuel pump/pressure question 03 Yukon Denali

Vehicle specs? If one of the fuel injectors is damaged and stuck open, this can cause a low fuel pressure in the rail. You will often notice this by misfire codes on a specific cylinder at the same time. It sounds like you need a new OEM fuel pump. You say you swapped a Delphi? Was it new? A...

Any help would be greatly appreciated! LOW OIL PRESSURE

I used the FEL-PRO 72401 on my 2005. For the past 6 years I always had 40psi on the gauge. Now it is slightly higher. The O-ring I took off was flattened out around the circumference.

    04 burb stalls while stopping

P0455: Cracks, holes, or splits in EVAP hoses are typically the issue. Could be other things though. The EVAP issue should not cause your dying problems. It's a 2004, then by all means change out the old parts, but without narrowing it down with some live data or a higher level scan tool, it...

    04 Tahoe code P0442

OMG do not buy that dorman, buy an AcDelco one instead. I am not sure which one it was but I also replaced the gas cap and solenoid to fix the "Tighten Gas Cap" message. A genuine Delco is only $22.00...

    Strange Oil pressure gauge

If it is moving around on its own, there is an electrical problem somewhere or: “P” 95-02 Oil Pressure Gauge Air Core Stepper Motor For GM Truck/SUV Clusters The original yellow motors use regular dampening oil which dries up from age, these white motors use silicone dampening oil that won’t dry...

Any help would be greatly appreciated! LOW OIL PRESSURE

Are you sure it is not your cluster? My '05 cluster went **** up really quickly after on gauge was wacky. Use a mechanical gauge to check the oil pressure to verify that the cluster is not lieing to you. The pickup tube could have a crack in it. There are a lot of possibilites.

    Squeaking/Squealing/Chirping Blower Motor fan...

Yes, I believe it was where the motor shaft rides in the bushings. Tiny dust from either from the brushes or outside gets caught in there just enough to make that bearing like squeak/squeal/chirp when you setting is on 2 or 3 depending if you have the manual knob or the rotating adjustable temp...

    Squeaking/Squealing/Chirping Blower Motor fan...

If you have the squeaking/squealing/chirping type sound coming from the Blower fan that also changes with speed settings, then it can be a simple repair. You most likely do not need a new blower fan. These are very simple to remove and check out. Depending on your model you need to remove the...

Anyone have a source for the Front Axle Housing washer and the retainer?

Doing the oil seal on the passenger side axle housing by removing the housing from the vehicle and found someone had been in there before. Too much gasket maker to be factory for one. First thing I notice is that the two washers under the snap clip are some how concave. Upon further inspection...

Intermediate steering shaft U-joint. Can you replace it?

I did order a new one, that was green, from GMpartsdirect, but it was not even close to the same. The lip was different and so was the tab placement. The bearing was the same plastic race and bearing cups.

Intermediate steering shaft U-joint. Can you replace it?

Turns out that the column bearing needed grease. Nothing wrong with the shaft or u-joint. That plastic bearing race and cage needs some kind of grease fitting! Anyway, greased it up and reinstalled it. No more clunk.

Intermediate steering shaft U-joint. Can you replace it?

Because, although a new one is $60 or so, it seems silly that you can't replace that little u-joint.

Intermediate steering shaft U-joint. Can you replace it?

Yes, I see that is the standard. I was curious if anyone has tracked down the little u-joint and replaced it. It is the upper one just inside the firewall above the brake pedal.

Transmission separator plate check ball almost pushed through

I had one that was nearing catastrophic and two others that were pretty worn in. It was doing a lot of kicking, but now it is like butter smooth for 215,000. SK4L60E by Transgo. New O-rings and seals on the servo too.

Intermediate steering shaft U-joint. Can you replace it?

Has anyone replaced only the tiny u-joint in the intermediate steering shaft? Where can you buy a little u-joint for it? Or have you repacked it successfully?
