I agree. The brakes behind the big wheels look much better. The rotors and calipers are Brake Best brand from O'Reilly. I have a jobber account with them so the cost was my biggest concern. Thanks! Next on the list is braided hoses then lots of other goodies to possibly go to SEMA next year.- MikeLade

So I did the upgrade. Rotors, pads, calipers and brackets all from a 2007 Tahoe. Everything bolted on as this thread suggests. The brakes feel amazing. The truck stops hard and I no longer have a terrible shake in the wheel when I have to get on them hard. I was also fighting a random ABS issue...- MikeLade

So where's the junkyard parts sticky?
Cutting coils changed the seeing rate and will made the vehicle ride like junk. That goes for any vehicle.- MikeLade

Door panel removal 04 Escalade
Pop the trim off from behind the door handle and remove the bolt, remove the bolt behind the door pull (armrest), pop the window switch out, pull the triangle trim off and lift up. There are "L" shaped brackets that clip into the door. When you pull up, you release them. -

I'll run whatever is cheap. The truck stops alright for for having big wheels because it's hydroboost. I've run a few different brands on my previous truck (titan on 24s) and didn't really feel much difference for the cost. $40 pads were fine and $80 pads were only marginally better.- MikeLade

It just so happens that I am doing all new front brakes next weekend. I ordered the replacement caliper/bracketss (for my 03 escalade) Saturday from my local O'Reilly. I will be ordering the 07-14 brakes instead since I have stumbled across this thread. My truck has hydro boost and it's on 26"...- MikeLade
