    I like the look from a distance, but upclose it seems to show the bars in the grill fairly easy. Are they very well made? Thanks for the pics!

    Just do a basic rebuild and you will have a good as new engine. Rings, bearings, oil pump and gaskets at a minimum.

    Monroe = trash. If you are looking for cheaply made junk with an advertizing budget Monroe is for you, if you want quality look elsewhere. I would take a look at Bilstein.

    Rock auto lists it as "VARIOUS MFR" in otherwords aftermaket replacement part. Then you have to add outrageous shipping cost. What you will end up with is a cheap thin metal bodyshop replacement part not a true GM piece. Buy GM and be done with it... ---------- Post added at 08:55 AM...

    I got mine from Amazon. If you have Prime it shipes free. It is a OEM GM hood too.

    I got my SS cluster back and finally reinstalled it. The problem has been fixed. I guess it was just a coincidence that the original was burnt out as well.
