Roof racks - anyone tried non oem parts?
First time I have seen an aftermarket rack. Not to much more you can have a new GM setup. -

I am fairly positive that will not work. You can lay the antenna down inside the engine compartment. There is a thread on here somewhere with pictures.- Danzigman

Brake line kit Recommendations?
I have a set on mine, at least the rear set for now. I haven't done my NNBS conversion on the front yet. Make sure that you don't have " rear active brake control." I must have this on mine as the kit comes with a center line for the rear, mine requires two separate center lines. They look like...- Danzigman

HD Hood Swap
Yukon fenders are cut differently to allow for the GM headlight. The tahoe has the old Silverado headlights that are smaller. -

I have a Tahoe, so it is a direct swap. The hood is at my body shop now. They are going to do some minor repairs next week thanks to being hit by a lost bedliner on th highway last week. -

What is everyone using for the underhood liner, from what I hear gm no longer sells replacements for hd hoods. I should have mine one by the end of next week! -
How Rare is your GM vehicle?
Looks like it is no longer a free service. The best deal is the 5 for $5 non-subscription. Looks like you should be able to get this info from GM to me. Wonder if they have a website for this type stuff? I know they have a heritage website, but I haven't been on it in years.- Danzigman

Something chipped my windshield

Has anyone used one of these? Part number 950-70112. Summit has them for $155. I am about to get my HD hood painted for install in a few weeks and thought this might look good. I haven't seen a NBS with one, I remember seeing OBS' with them years back. How is the fit? Anyone have any pictures?
