I had to get it on my 04 cause the driveshaft was slamming ino the transmission on larger bumps. That was only a 3" drop.
I haven't installed the drop kit yet on my 07 but I have the trailing arm relocation kit waiting to go on at the same time.
Most people don't use it on a 3" drop but I...
Yes a boost valve can wear out. Im not sure about how long they typically last but Ive seen significant enough wear on them at 80k miles. My buddy changes them on every rebuild and sometimes during fluid changes just to keep the tranny operating properly.
Sonnax is definitely the best if not...
Yes just change the fluid and filter and make sure they use Dexron 6. It's a synthetic version of the Dexron 3 they were using in the older models. I think they started using 6 around the 05-06 models. And from what I heard 6 can be mixed with 3. As far as service intervals after I would say...
Do you have a pic of that just so I can see it. Mine is really scratched up bad so I need to cover the entire circle. I guess I can try first with just a scrap piece of vinyl before I waste my time getting something made.
Well according to another member on here you unfortunately cannot remove the ugly side vents. He claimed they were riveted on.
Other wise it's a clean truck. Pics of the interior?
Is the carpet soaked with straight water or is it coolant? It could just be the Ac drain backing up. Do you have a sunroof? Could be that drain acting up. I have a pass side leak ( haven't fixed yet) that only shows up in hard rain so you need to get it dried up and figure out when exactly it is...
Is that grommet for the older trucks that had the filter service reminder?
There isnt a random hole in the side of that airbox is there or somewhere to drill a hole?
Looks awesome.
Im not an Avy fan but I'd drive that one. Wheels look so simple and clean and matches with the mirror caps and handles. And the silver looks good on that truck.
And NO ROOF RACK FTW!!!
The gromment isnt for the tab that sticks out on the box in the first pic?
I dont think I would reroute that coolant hose under the intake tube. That may cause a problem with it sending the overflow coolant back to the tank.
