    There is a little clip that comes out if I'm not mistaken. Close to the metal part it attaches to. But do it off the truck so it can't fall and get lost.

    I wish I would have bought a Suburban instead of my 07 Tahoe. I passed on a good one before cause I wasn't too keen on my wife driving a Burb (coming from a Saturn Vue) and I just didn't realize how much bigger the Burb was until I got my 04.

    I removed my emblems off of my black 07 about a year ago and it did have some ghosting like that. I just did a full detail with my PC7424 polisher and I can't see the outlines anymore. I'm not sure if you could get that out by just hand polishing though.

    My neighbor has an 07 2wd Z71 with slightly larger tires and he gets 12-13 and another neighbor has either a 2010 or 11 but I know it has the 6 speed and she was showing 12 on her DIC.

    Its not great but its the best I can get at this second. I think its like 60mm in diameter, but the bowtie is raised and the entire emblem is dome shaped so Im sure that might make it harder to lay it out smooth.

    Looks good. I have a set of wheels with some messed up paint and I was going to "dip" them but I wasn't sure how it would look against the shiny black paint on the truck. Is it just plastidip or does it have the glossifier?
