What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Based on age I would say it's air ride, passive magnaride. So it's not a real magnaride shock, but has the electronics at the top to fool the system. Now Arnott makes a real magnaride air shock replacement.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Looks like 5.3L engines had the option, identified by a yellow gas cap in 2015 Tahoes and Yukons. Looks like 6.2L did not have the option for flexfuel.

Looks like an Arnott based on the top piece.

Bad Strut? Metallic Sound When Going Over Bump

Look at the links for the rear sway bar. If the bolt/nut is loose you will get a metal to metal sound. Ask me how I know. Lol

If you want, its a good time to add dynamat to the roof for some extra sound damping while the headliner is down.

Magnaride, Should I delete yes or no?

Let's be clear, your generation magnarides last longer than the 2015-2020 yrs. I had a 2008 Escalade before the Denali. Most 2015-2020 owners aren't getting over 50k on their magnarides which says alot why people don't want to cough up $1500+ just to have another GM part fail again. 3 yrs ago...

2015 Tahoe right side front end shake at 80 mph

I have the same thing on my 2015 Yukon, but I have 20" wheels. I attributed it to the Bridgestone tires being towards the end of their life, which are about 10k miles from being replaced.

Magneride (without Air Ride) failure at only 700 miles

Magnarides didn't last in the 2015-2020s, no reason for GM to fix them it looks like. So sad they won't improve the longevity of them.

2016 Yukon XL Denali A/C compressor & condenser replacement

It does require disconnecting the transmission lines. Fluid loss is minimal. If the condenser is empty of freon it will be relatively painless. You don't have to take off the front bumper, but the radiator needs to be loose to shove it out of the way to get the condenser out. Edit: Plenty of...

    Hail damaged cars!

Expect $10-12k in PDR fix plus replace the chrome trim that is damaged. It all can be fixed. Some dealers even use PDR shops to fix their hail dented cars after insurance has paid out.

Another bad GM transmission in my '19 Tahoe

The ZL1 converter a decent option compared to Circle D and the others? I was looking at the Circle D 300mm and was trying to justify why it's so much more than the ZL1. Thoughts?

2017 Tahoe engine swap, advice appreciated

Wow! If you have the ability to pull the heads get them to a machine shop, you can have them rebuilt. Get yourself a good cam and do an AFM delete. You won't have near $6K into it. Do a search on here as there are several posts about people who have had the same issue and replaced the problem...
