I agree that my Denali has a very nice rumbling sound at startup, especially when im standing behind it and i use the remote start feature. However, i take some long trips with it and that constant droning noise it makes at a highway speeds becomes veryyy annoying..
Yes i will be just replacing the stock filter element. I have heard some people claim they hear more of a "sucking" sound by just replacing the stock filter? If I got 1 mpg more, I think it would be worth the extra cost. thanks
I actually didn't know that the LTZ had a smaller motor. They seem to get the same gas mileage, mine always reads around 14.6 as does the LTZ. Yes I have driven escalades many times. The escalade is def louder than the LTZ, but I think it's slightly quieter than the denali..
Its def night and day. Also the droning is terrible on the stock denali exhaust. While i was cruising at 60 mph in the LTZ, the exhaust is 100% silent in comparison to the denali. I personally don't even know why gmc made
it sound that way, it's an suv not a sportscar. lol
I have a 2008 yukon denali xl, and I find the stock exhaust to be too loud for my liking. Is there anyway I can put an exhaust on it similiar to that which is on a late model Suburban ltz? They are practically silent in comparison to my denali's stock exhaust system. Thanks in advance!
I have an 08 denali XL, and i think the stock exhaust system is a bit too loud for my liking. I recently drove a 09 Suburban LTZ, and I really liked the way it was practically silent compared to my Denali.. Is there anything I can do to make mine as quiet as a stock Suburban? Thanks in advance!
