    Built in place. Getting the bolt holes to align on the fly took a moment of thought. Left, top and right lip are one piece bent plate; one shot, no trial or repeat fabrication and the outer face with the bolt head fit perfectly.

    Skipping to #3; I presume the relay is in the fuse box under the hood. Remove and jump which particular pins? (with wire?) Use a fuel line under the hood? Skipping to #4. Is the filler hose removal reliably resealable without buying something?

    Why? I would consider the blame on the town and state using corrosive melting chemicals and not GM after 16 years.

    Pulled off the inner fender liner to get it fully exposed and cleaned it up with a chipping hammer. Frame is ok as is the lower part of the bracket and a replacement bracket is being mocked up.

    Thanks. Did it today and, as you said, nothing to it. The only hardship was the phillips head screws for the mud flaps. Because the screws had rust on the threads the phillips grip was not sufficient to coax the screws out and I had to cut the heads off with a Dremmel. Luckily I had a bag of...

    Are any adjustments done on the rear wheels in an alignment on a 2008 Tahoe? I can't imagine that there is anything done there and I haven't seen any adjusters, but I am open to educating.
