    Checked the solenoid and it’s closed. I’ve got access to live data on my scan tool so I’m gonna keep it going and hopefully I can replicate the problem and figure out what’s going on. Any other thoughts/suggestions?

    Steering wheel glue

    I’ve got a 2013 GMC Yukon. The steering wheel has a fake wood trim piece. The trim pieces recently in falling off due to glue melting. Anybody has a good suggestion on how to prevent that? Specifically hot temperatures of 100° or hotter cause it to melt.

    I’m fairly certain that this broke off before me even touching it! In fact, I think that’s the whole cause of my issues, I think the part was over tightened when the mechanic installed the new motor back in March.

    Today, the A/C wouldn't turn on stating that the engine was too hot and needed to cool down before the AC would turn on. I'm at my witts end!! The engine thermometer on the dash was reading a normal temp and didn't waver. The AC ended up kicking on after about 30 minutes of driving. Not sure...

    I’m not sure about pressure at the fuel rail. If it’s a pump issue, would it be consistently throughout or only give me issues at startup? I’m planning on cleaning the MAFs this weekend.

    Thanks! I appreciate the design and features of the new one but the old one has been absolute champ. We’ve had it since 2014 and haven’t put more than $2k into it. This 2013 we’ve had since March of 2024 and put a new engine in it plus about $4k on top of that.

    And thank you for your reply. I greatly appreciate it. I’m so frustrated with this vehicle and am about ready to get rid of it but I’ve replaced so much on it that it has more new parts than not. Outside of brakes, ac, alternator, and transmission it’s all pretty much new.
