    Sleeping on it I'm not in a time crunch and maybe could use this as an excuse to buy more tools rather than pay labor hours. Is this a dumb idea to get? ;) (or something like it) I have a fire extinguisher and hose in the garage. lol

    Air hammer, big fucking hammers, kroil for days etc. Nope. I need this torched out and I don't have a torch. I suppose I should put it back together with the arms and have someone else do it. Fuck salt! ;-)

    Ok got the nut off but the bolt is seized in the bushing really bad. I have an air hammer I'll try in the next day. If that doesn't work I'm taking it to a shop. Cutting out grade 8 bolts doesn't sound fun.

    Those winds are no joke. I've nearly fudged my huggies a few times getting hit out of the blue in WY. Then there are the snow storms that come out of nowhere.

    I got some oil in her. No belts, intake or accessories. Enough to start. She hated being forced into speed density backup with no maf. I finally got her started though. Cold idle oil pressure might have been high 20s, maybe 30 psi with the old gasket. Look at this. Wow. Y'all need to do this...

    Its my old raid 6 setup and wattage is ok for that power supply. I needed a machine to work from home. I just finished moving our company all to AWS and setup VPN access so earned. That machine used to be a i5 2400 from 10 years ago so thought I could use an upgrade (i5 9400). #CTOLIFE...

    They made the motherboard I installed today, surely they could handle a socket. My other stuff is a mix of craftsman and.. oh wait, craftsman made in China too. Ah well.

    Rtv in corners. Pan in Ok I nearly shit myself. I was torquing bolts and heard a *crack*, then metal fell on my face. I thought I had destroyed the pan or something else expensive.

    Pickup tube in. I had to use scotch brite to get old gasket off.

    Overnight the dipstick moved closer to the header. I used a coat hanger wire and wrapped it end to end. Then I added heat shielding tape. Done. With the wire brace I was able to bend it away from the runners.

    New dipstick and "alternator" installed. I had to mod the dipstick a bit. It also is close to the headers so I'll have to watch and see if driving vibrations make it touch. It's neat in that it holds in place like an air tool connection. Not a ton of room but we'll see. Look closely...
