Which power steering fluid?
Hey y’all, besides the OEM power steering fluid from the dealer, what fluid would be good for my 2002 Yukon. Last time I changed the fluid I used dealer fluid but it was a little pricey. Also what I used to empty the reservoir was a turkey baster with a short piece of hose on it, it worked well.- bmg88201

Door trim removal
Yes that seems a little pricy for new trim pieces. I have babied this Yukon and is still pristine. Stills purrs like a kitten, rides like a 747 and is quite as a mouse. Gotta weigh my options. Just bought a new Tacoma and with the holidays, I’ve been hemorrhaging money, lol. -

Door trim removal
Thanks for the advice. The color is white and has always had wax on it and been kept in the garage. So, maybe it will look okay. I realize it’s 22 years old so it might be fairly noticeable anyway. I’m sure it has dirt, mold, mildew behind the trim molding. Still, it’s a poor design, see it all... -

Thanks for all the replies. Changing my tranny fluid and filter is one thing I don’t do myself. The transmission shop in town told me that now all they use is the synthetic type for GM’s. I have an 2002 Yukon and I always have the tranny fluid and filter change every 50,000. The mechanic told me that now they use a synthetic tranny fluid.
