I was asked on another forum what the difference was at night with the hybrid lights so I figured I'd post here to.. Pictured are the hybrids. Only the top portion of the light is illuminated at night with the bottom strictly being turn signals. I really want to put LEDs in the plate housing but...
The one I normally go to isnt that savage, I'm not sure they do it in the most cleanest way but they do leave all pans intact so all engines for the most part are 100% complete unless otherwise noted.
Oh LKQ tried that around me and a bunch of the bigger junkyards got together as a group and told them to F off. I have 4 different U-Pulls around me that I can get with.
Parts Galore being the biggest but furthest from me.
The one by my house is decently big with a $1 dollar charge and will only...
The ones by me only drains fluids and puts them on the yard. I've sold them several junkers over the years and they are strictly a u pick and pull place. There is one that pulls for you but does not allow you on the yard, they also charge damn near Auto Part Store prices for stuff its dumb.
Spent my Black Friday junkyard shopping. Got some Hybrid Tahoe Taillights a denali roof rack, a whole misc trim and some stuff for the C10 all for 60 bucks.
Hybrid Tahoes plugged right in. Sad that the truck was black cuz i liked the white D Pillars.
Spring time ill paint them up to match.
I...
I like those to. But im cheap guy so i get most of my non essential parts from junkyards.
To me the Denali Taillights just don't match anything on the truck. Its a fauk carbonfiber ricer era taillight. They should have carried it over on the third brake light or headlight buckets.
I actually...
They are definitely different from normal tahoe. The shape is similar to eskys. However unlike the esky the Hybrid Tahoes plugged right into the yukons harness with 0 zeros. Tbh i never liked the yukons style of taillights even the Denalis.
Yes only the top portion is led ans functions as brake...
I already miss the white D Pillars but also discovered that the Tahoes are a different rear bumper design as well as well as the bulb are completely different sockets 3157s vs 7440 IRRC. Ill live with the bumper until I can score one from a junkyard or FB.
Denali Roof Rack will go on after...

Those 6.2s will be long gone before I am able to get there. Theres people that wait all year for this sale and have every single tool ready. I've seen them make their own engine stands to carry it the 60 ft. They have about 7 6.2 getting ready to be out for the Day. I'm eyeballing 3 Denalis for...
Also Getting ready for my junkyards annual 60 for 60 sale. Anything you carry 60 ft is yours for 60 bucks.
Gonna try to get the rest of the Denail stuff and maybe a new tailgate if they have a white one.
I have polybushings in my C10 and I hate them. The bodymount bushings make you feel every damn vibration, The ride is rougher. I refuse to use anything other than rubber for bushings after that.
My 79 T/A had poly leafspring bushings and no matter the ungodly amount of grease you put on those...
Been throwing around the idea of lifting the Yukon but Bilstein's are way outta budget and I stumbled upon these. Obviously, the ride quality will not be Bilsteins quality but is it comparable to stock Non Air Ride
Magnaflow or borla will do that. Flowmasters on ls are raspy IMO
Alot has to do with what mufflers you buy to. Straight through ones will be louder than a chambered turbo style
Got around to an Oil Change and finishing up bedlining the entire underside of the truck, Frame and body. Results turned out decent. Prob was a bit on the cold side to be spraying but it stuck and dried nicely.
Local Junkyard is having their annual 60 for 60 Sale so I'm hoping to snag up a...
