A little update, went from the 2" level to a 2.5" level, 18x9 with 0 offset wheels and 35x12.5 tires. Did the Norcal mod behind the front fender liners and no rubbing at all.- z71wagon

Still here, lol. The compressor oil for r1234 is capatible with r134. But compressor oil for 134 is not capatible with 1234. And with the new evaporator cake with the new orifice tube(expansion valve). I just made sure to evacuate the system very well then charged it up. Been almost a year... -

How do you like the ride of the fox coil overs? I've been debating on that one and some dirt king upper control arms instead of an actual lift kit.- z71wagon

Update, did the evaporator myself and only took a solid 10 hrs start to finish. And converted system to 134 instead of 1234. Ac blows way colder than before!! -

Yes indeed. Anyone else have experience with this. I like to think oem is the best replacement evaporator but mine didn't even last 125k miles. I don't want to have to do this job again. -

Update!! Gm confirmed my fear, evaporator leaking. Quoted me $5800 to replace!!! Anyone want a 17 tahoe with 122k miles on it, lol, no ac -

I recently ran into something similar with my 17 tahoe. A can of r1234yf(stupid expensive) would last a couple days tops. Texas summer is no joke this year so I was determined to find the leak. I ended up pulling the 90 degree elbow off the evaporator core drain tube on the firewall and stuck... -

I just feel like the 275/70 (33's) look small, and a bit skinny. And as the tahoe sits the tires have plenty of clearance and don't rub at all. Kinda why I'm thinking a 295/70. I don't mind a little rubbing. I also agree 100% on ride quality, this is my family travel rig and I love the way...- z71wagon
