Jeep Grand Wagoneer | color me impressed
I had the kid's Jeep; so as one does was in the Jeep dealer getting parts over the weekend :). They had one of the Grand Wagoneer's in stock. Battery Life when parked, 2023 Tahoe
2023 Denali, left sitting for 4 months, started up without issue all the corvettes will not start after 2 weeks; constant source of annoyance none of the GM products do any type of load shedding while off; they have off protect if you leave say headlights on, but nothing to adjust load while...- steiny93

2023 Tahoe High Country is gone...
No one said the tech needed to drive over a posted speed. The issue is that GM hides behind a localized speed limit in order to not fix a problem.- steiny93

Heated Seats not working?
if they are working you will definitely feel them the earlier vintage got warmer I had a ram with a broken element; the light would light but the element wouldn't warm up; i'd assume the gm seat heaters could fail in the same way -

The LM2 engine is in both the '23 and the '24 models; don't assume any 'bugs' have been figured out beyond the typical updates that are happening '21 -> '24. Effectively, the '21s through the '24s are the same with minor differences in options and a slight 'refresh' in '24 but same hard parts...- steiny93

Which is best fuse to pull for anti-theft?
a switch to kill either fuel pump or starter is likely the easiest.. I'd vote for starter so you don't have a dead battery / starter :) another option is to pull ign fuse here is a kit all setup if you can get to a single fuse to pull...- steiny93

Cost to swap engine in a 2017 Tahoe?
if you have the above option, do that seriously, do that You don't want to pay extra into this mix? A rebuilt motor doesn't make this vehicle worth any more. odd (regen?) smell first 15 minutes of driving
What does it smell like? Does it smell like raw diesel exhaust or does it smell more refined like an active regen? Asking as the wife's denali had an exhaust leak in the turbo assembly and in the cab (when cold) you'd get raw exhaust smell until the engine warmed up. It smelled like an old...- steiny93

How can you afford the cost of a new SUV?
Absolutely "assuming if you make more you will spend more" I'm assuming everyone is attempting to sustain an income proportionally similar (working to retirement). Some folks might be in the camp where they are going to retire on 1/10th of their normal income, I haven't met any yet.- steiny93

The issue is that if you make $1 or you make $1M the retirement needs are proportionally larger. By this I mean the percentages of saving needs stay the same as the retirement targets are proportionally larger. Basically, it isn't any 'easier'; if anything it's more difficult as income limits...- steiny93

Before this denali we have had near zero issues with other gm products that we have owned (tahoe's / denali's / 1500 pickups / 2500 pickups / z28's / corvette's). Spending this much time at the gm dealer is a new experience for us.- steiny93
