Windows and doors are one of the first things I have to order. They all have their pros and cons. Slider is not the most energy efficient. French doors take up space and block the view.- pwtr02ss

It's 16'x8'. It'll have screen. Avy (my cat) requires a screen. She doesn't go outside and we don't want bugs in either. Meeting with the supply house Friday to go over everything. Meeting the builder Friday evening at the property. Plan is, order all the dry in materials next week. Footers the following. Question. 4 panel slider patio door, or 2 panel French slider with fixed glass? $5k difference- pwtr02ss

Went out to the site on Saturday. I haven't been out there since 4/18. Catch basin grate was completely covered, so the 6" of rain we've received over the past few weeks flooded the driveway and washed it out at the road again. The weeds at the front were knee high. Got the builders risk set up and sent to the bank. Spoke with the builder. Meeting on site next Friday to finalize everything and get a game plan together. I should have the house staked by then. Tentatively scheduled to dig footers week of the 22nd. Nothing set in stone until I sign the...- pwtr02ss

Thank you Yeah, I believe it was simply a lazy employee at the other bank. The new one, just over 3 weeks, start to finish, if we actually close on that date. I'm hesitant to get my hopes up. In the end, its turned out to be a blessing, I feel.- pwtr02ss

We received final closing documents yesterday. Closing is scheduled for Tuesday, pending my builders risk insurance. I sent everything over for that yesterday, hopefully have it back today.- pwtr02ss

Not quite. I wasn't going to update this until I had a final close date. I'll give a run down of our last two and half months... We were recommended to One Bank of TN by the guy we did our land loan through. I took his advice and just went there. Didn't call around, didn't feel like wasting...- pwtr02ss
