Ah, I can't do that. It's the head of "Environmental" for the entire state. They're letting me use it, I just have to answer "why" certain things are the way they are. like, "why is there not a concrete lid with a #3 rebar handle cast-in?" Because it has a cast-iron frame and cover. Simple...

Little update. We got the septic permit today, so thats all squared away. Waiting on the tank approval. Since its a commercial tank, I'm having to write a letter explaining why its better... Spoke with a steel building contractor, quick and dirty estimate would be under $200k installed for the...

This is what I'm considering if my builder doesn't find a better solution If I do a metal building, I want I-beam construction. Looks like I can be in one of these for under 200 including installation, slab, insulation, doors, etc. 30x60 shown. Still going for 40x80 with a porch Also, I'm...

Welcome Priced out some commercial buildings. Think I'll end up going that direction and project manage it myself. Red iron type.

You edited. Yeah, I'm not paying that. Seems like a better deal considering the scope, if it's all done together. If that's not the case, he can work along side another crew. That's just unacceptable considering. I'm starting to wonder if they're seeing the money spent so far is not...

Met with the builder to drop the plans off. House is still in the rough budget that we originally discussed. Obviously this is very rough estimates but wasn't far from the original. The garage, however, was not. His quick figure was $400k for that alone. Def way outside our original budget so...

Um, yeah. Sure, thats exactly what I had in mind.....totally But seriously, I have no clue what youre talking about lol. My router now is from spectrum and my wifi router is a netgear I think. Amazon, $75 special or something. Thats all I have for a "network"

2 post is more versatile Def not set in stone. That's my plan, but money will be a factor. That 4 post will be the first cut if budget doesn't hold out. That's an easy add on down the road. I'm going to pour the footers for it, but that doesn't mean it'll happen

My concern is being around for years down the road. Bendpak has been around for decades. Tons of lift options out there, many of which won't be around in 5 years.

There's a distributor here that sells that I think. We really deal with trench drain, aside from the ADS duraslot system or just the cast-iron grates, I always send them over to him. He used to work for me so I know that "buddy deal" aint gonna be much of deal from him. That poly concrete drain...

Ive been recommended to do that. I'm torn on it. Like, if my dyson lays down, I just buy another dyson. Its easy. I'm not sure I want to deal with the upkeep and remembering to empty it, or however that works. Would absolutely love a couple of those. Sadly, my cat likes to puke in random spots...

Extremely helpful! Thank you breaking that down. I've had so much else on my mind, these things I didn't have the energy to worry myself with. I needed that simplified explanation.

I am ADS's largest customer in this market. I'm hoping they'll keep that in mind when quoting... If I do end up with some sort of trench drain, I'll hit you up for that buddy deal :drunk:

Def want that, but was unsure how its achieved. I do not like units that are mounted on the wall in each room. Not sure what the proper term is, but they are ugly. I do want to be able to keep the bedroom cool, while the rest of the house is warmer/cooler.

It is currently drawn with a trench drain going the entire length. I'm leaning more towards and individual 12" x 12" drain basin in the center of each bay. I will tie these and the roof drains into the tall catch basin I installed with the concrete pipe. I'm currently waiting on a quote from...
