Back in the day my dealership would remove carbon by pouring dot3 down the carburetor. I think we just charged for some brake fluid. Smoked like a chimney of course but seemed to work, cars would diesel beforehand and seemed to run better afterwards- Coveman

Installing seat heaters

That’s nice. For stuff that I dont drive for months at a time they all seem to create battery ‘memory’ that ruin the battery after a year or two. With the battery disconnected they hold a charge for months- Coveman

I haven’t had good luck with trickle chargers (even the newer nocos) they tend to fry the battery. Better to unhook the battery and charge it every month or so.- Coveman

XL / Suburban Rear Quarter Panel Rust
Not only is it two layers of thinner sheetmetal but they add hygroscopic sound-deadening foam between the layers. Thats fraud. Get the parts then stop credit card payment. Keep your documents for the contested charge process. Converting side mount to top mount for battery
Not a fan of the side mount setup so I started with a dual setup battery then switched to top post cables when the side terminals were corroded yet again. I skipped the side to top post kits since the oe cables had corrosion deep into the wire cables- Coveman

What to do with old gas?
Its ok for killing weeds but try not to breathe it or get it on your skin, its not safe. Probably the biggest problem with old gas is water (and ethanol attracts water) but if it runs ok in a mower you can use it in small engines around the house. Wouldn’t hurt to add some stabilizer to it. -
Husky rear cargo liner
Looks great! I have a liner too but I’ve thought about a tool drawer for some time now but haven’t found “the one” yet. I’d like a home for my tools, first aid and fire stuff -

They’d both be contenders in my book but their condition, maintenance records and price (including cost to insure) would be important. First year of a new model generally has the most bugs but by now they should have been addressed (read about active fuel management issues beforehand)- Coveman

Do I need the Kent-Moore J-43484 for the front TC seal?
You need something to seat that seal properly so it doesn’t leak. I made a tool (after the first seal leaked) that worked, but fixing a leaking seal on the truck wasn’t much fun.- Coveman

Stripped wheel stud; lug nut stuck on
Bummer. I just looked at my truck and I didnt see much that looked promising. I saw a couple yt vids, one was lugripper to help drill it out without damaging your rim. , the other was a socket with a big cheater bar that you rock until you snap the stud.
