Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

After I did that test, I checked the bulb sockets and for both lights, with high resistance to ground at approx .7 M ohms, the lightbulb will illuminate with the doors open and the POS+ socket to ground reads 12V. The bulb will not light up with the button pressed which provides the same...

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

Today I removed the ring terminals from the LH dash ground and probed directly to the ring terminal and the ground in the overhead console. I logged the event with my DMM and I could hear a module shut down at approx 25 seconds, reducing the ohms to about 360 ohms then another shut down...

Brake pedal squeal when pressed hard

Based on the duration of the sound, I agree it sounds like a ruptured booster diaphragm. I can't think of anything else other than the check valve.

2011 tahoe driver front door replaced, and now an SRS driver door service air bag code

It was this connector here that had me taking my steering wheel apart until I realized what it was. Reason i'm posting this is to check the connections underneath the kick panel as well or anything you may have disturbed.

2011 tahoe driver front door replaced, and now an SRS driver door service air bag code

Does the door close normally, with no hangups, any signs of a rough latching mechanism...basically mimic the other doors? The latch may not be fully closing and/or just the sensor tripping both codes thinking it is open. I get a random "Service Airbag" on my DIC, and it shows incorrect...

2008 Yukon Denali - $3000 dollars in repairs and I still have P0171 and P069E DTCs.

Wow. The VIN should depict that you have a 2008, unless they looked at the door sticker and saw a 9/07- 12/07 and thought it was an 07. That's crazy, hopefully this will fix it.

2008 Yukon Denali - $3000 dollars in repairs and I still have P0171 and P069E DTCs.

Before you drop the tank again, verify the ethanol content from the scan tool. What are your LTFT's at idle? If 15% or more, that might point to a vacuum leak. Get it on the road and select a gear where you can cruise at 2000-2500 RPM under a load and see what the Long Term Fuel Trims look...

2008 Yukon Denali - $3000 dollars in repairs and I still have P0171 and P069E DTCs.

You didn't by chance fill up with E85 did you? Assuming you don't have a flex fuel vehicle.

2008 Yukon Denali - $3000 dollars in repairs and I still have P0171 and P069E DTCs.

Do both codes pop up at the same time, or one before the other? Have you done a vacuum test on the evap lines? Usually if you have a failed tank vacuum test, then it will throw an evap code. However engine vacuum is required and you have the P0171 code which could be an intake manifold gasket...

2008 Yukon Denali - $3000 dollars in repairs and I still have P0171 and P069E DTCs.

Are these fuel systems designed to have a continuous return flow to the tank? If so, are you getting fuel drained back to the tank? Would a purge valve or solenoid cause these issues? It sounds like maybe the evap system is performing a vacuum test on the tank for holding pressure 30 seconds...

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

Looking back on post #62, I had -1.99 ohms with the ring terminal removed....I will remove it again tomorrow and double.check that

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

I was messing with the visor the other day and I swore as I rotated the arm, the POS+ circuit would go in and out..but today I did the same and no...just the mirror lid breaks the ground. Sorry if I added even more confusion. I know it would be dumb to have the lights turn on with the visor down...

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

OK, on mine it's not visible from that angle, the lid wraps around and blocks it from view. I did see the contacts on the back side... When I open the lid, the ground circuit closes, same on both visors....less than .6 ohms. Not in the sense you are likely describing. I do want to...

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

OK, my bad, but the readings were the same on both G200 & G201 I get .67-.7 ohms from L to R visor ground, and same from visor ground to console bulb ground Will do. I was going to start unplugging each harness as well to see if anything changes but will start with the courtesy lights. Been...

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

One thing I haven't checked, is the resistance from the NEG battery terminal to the ground terminal at the body under the RH side of the radiator. I cleaned that area this weekend, it looked good, but I cleaned it anyway. Also, when I checked the resistance from the NEG terminal to G201, block...

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

Before I retested, I verified my meter leads and probe resistance. Internal using leads: Leads and probes: Battery NEG to engine block, I was surprised to see this: NEG to firewall on LH side I also have approx 1.4 ohms from G201 to the NEG terminal...however I have .04 ohms...

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

Going back and recapping the history, a relative hit the LR of the Yukon about a year ago, not much visible damage but about 6 months after, I started getting DIC warnings about the park assist and thought it was the torrential rain blocking the sensor ...went away after a few min and thought...

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

I want to clarify the above post . I had almost one mega ohm with the ground wires at the dash pillar bolted to the stud. iit was when I removed the wires from the stud and measured directly from the ring terminal to the overhead console.I had -1.99 ohms. Would that suggest there's a small...

2008 Yukon Denali - $3000 dollars in repairs and I still have P0171 and P069E DTCs.

If the 35 psi was verified with a mechanical gauge that does change things...and not from live OBD data.

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

So today I removed and cleaned the grounds in the rear of the vehicle, this was the before pic but now they are all cleaned up just in case. The LR parking sensor is the one that is bad and was hit about a year ago and I only noticed occasional errors when it rained starting a few months...

2008 Yukon Denali - $3000 dollars in repairs and I still have P0171 and P069E DTCs.

If you get 35 PSI static it would be a safe bet you would notice a driveability issue. Edit to say, I'm not saying you wouldn't notice it, I'm saying it's not likely 35 psi otherwise you would likely notice it and you are saying it drives fine. Four pumps and the same sensor, and all this...

    Acceleration hesitation

Not to hijack, but threads like these are good reminders....as I should verify mine as well given it's original @ 172K miles. Likely due for preventative maintenance given the history.

2008 Yukon Denali - $3000 dollars in repairs and I still have P0171 and P069E DTCs.

I agree and I believe this is one of those situations that warrants the replacement of the fuel pressure sensor just to be sure. Perhaps some debris made it into the fuel line during the pump change since the top of these tanks can get pretty nasty over time....thus ending up at the sensor. This...
