    Running lean

I'm not 100% but generally at some point the tank needs to hold a vacuum....so a full-time vent is not good. Not sure on the GMT-900 but usually after start, the PCM will close the vent solenoid I believe and pull a vacuum and test the tank...if it will not hold a certain vacuum for a set length...

    Running lean

I went back to look through this thread, and somehow (dumb thumbs) I missed page 2...lol. Makes more sense now with all that info. GM's do tend to be particular to O2 sensors, but also plugs....they like the OE iridium. Sorry if I misread any of this, but IME, I don't believe you should have...

No worries, I know what you mean. Have you looked into your tune with regards to the PE (Power Enrichment) table? Under boost, I believe this is where the tune would be adding fuel. I don't know enough about it to give advice but if you haven't had someone check it out I feel this is what you...

lift gate on my 2011 Tahoe wont open

Check the overhead console switch isn't turned off. Mine would start to open then shut, but not 1/4 of the way. Otherwise I agree with the struts. Don't get the cheap ones, get the Strong Arm or something mainstream. I tried the cheap strut and had to cut it off as the socket retainer would...

Tahoe 2007 starts rough and smells like gasoline

How many miles on the plugs? Are they OE AC Delco or aftermarket?

Engine dies at slow speeds inconsistently

Pull the air filter cover and check for any obstruction like a nest.... doubtful but worth a look. Also clean the MAF just to be sure.

Brake pedal squeal when pressed hard

Glad to hear it's resolved. Not to jinx you, but if the rears start making noise, check the fitment of the pads in the bracket. My last pair of Akebono rear pads had a loose fit, Akebono replaced them and the new pads squealed as well. The tabs of the pads were slightly smaller and rattled in...

Instrument cluster lights turn off when map light is turned on

Looks to be the driver's side visor causing the issue, I know @mikez71 mentioned the visor in the beginning, what threw me off was the passenger visor had similiar readings. I moved the visor to the side to block the sun and extended it, that night I noticed the flickering. I replaced the fuse...

    Running lean

I don't know what these are supposed to pull, but I would assume 18-21 inHg. Can you elaborate more on the history....how long have you owned it, and after you purchased it, what have you done to it and what if any problems were present at time of purchase and did the problems start before or...

    Running lean

What is your vacuum at idle, using a physical gauge, also is the needle steady? Have you done a leakdown test of the injectors? Verified fuel pressure? Are the O2 sensors AC Delco or aftermarket? Miles on plugs, are they AC Delco? Just a few questions to help try to diagnose.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Hmm..ok. Well, other than the possible suspected lack of airflow, I know you didn't ask this but, perhaps at that throttle setting, load, RPM pulling that grade...that this could be a power enrichment issue? Maybe it was just running a tad lean or could benefit from some extra fuel to cool...

    Yeah, definitely not in mine.

    I have a stupid question...

I have the backup sensors but no red lights inside on my 2012 Denali. Could the fact I have the backup camera eliminate the 3 red lights inside?

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Man...you are really giving me (more) of an itch for a SC. I'm just not sure if it's wise to do on a motor with 170K...but back to your issue... How old is your radiator? They do lose some of their ability to transfer heat over the years, how much I'm not sure but I have heard of that being a...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Found a couple parking sensors on the bay for about $80 delivered in white diamond tricoat..was in shock of the price of OE sensors which also need to be painted. They are in excellent shape and they are too small to see any possible variances in paint batches. I'm sure aftermarket sensors are...

    Torque converter starting to quit?

Did you check the fluid level after this happened? Engine idling, level surface...the fact it acted up on an incline makes me think and hope it's fluid level related. The next time it happens drop it down to 5th gear and see if it replicates. That gear is easier on the converter clutch than...

2012 Yukon Denali AWD driveline bind in turns

I think I found the culprit. the fluid has just over 47K miles on it. :buttkick: Came out a little thin with some light silver hue, I think I caught it early enough but the fluid looks beaten down. I thought I changed it at 140K and it was back around 125K, with so much going on I just lost...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Nice. When I changed out mine to the metal connectors, I also did the hose to the water pump which also includes another plastic fitting near the pump, mainly for peace of mind.

2010 Tahoe LTZ electrical saga, need some input... - SOLVED

Does it have a worn engine mount? If so, the engine could lift on the LH side working that ground strap to the firewall. Not likely the issue but wanted to toss that out.

2010 Tahoe LTZ electrical saga, need some input... - SOLVED

I forgot to add this. Given the proximity of the PCM to the engine, also could point to a heat-cyxle issue. Definitely worth a try to swap a PCM.

2010 Tahoe LTZ electrical saga, need some input... - SOLVED

The fact you said it happens after you drive it, still makes me think of a heat-cycle issue. Something like a connection in the transmission or a cracked solder joint in the BCM. Once the circuit loads up, it warms up and the gap opens and loses connection. I would reset the codes, let it cool...

Need Help! 2016 Tahoe 2wd tire size

Fitment wise I don't know, but just be aware of the possible drop in MPG's with that tire size and type.
