i have that Weathertech cargo liner….. It is only long enough for the 3rd seat down ( or in my ’05, ..the 3rd seat removed. )
They don’t make one for the full 8’ length.
What I use is a thick canvas drop cloth, folded in half, & reaches up against the 2nd row seats folded up, and goes to the...
Sealing the deck is easy….. ( 2 layers of a rubber sealer then a rubber ‘type’ skin….. then composite wood ( or something nice )
But the MOST IMPORTANT job on the upper deck is making SURE the perimeter is well designed to avoid moisture access into the center.
I have the lid / rubber insert, that is also a fast charger as you lay your phone on it. ( it has an ‘on-off’ button, and it fits like an OEM pad. Made by Boost Auto……. Well made…. includes an EASY power / plug-into - harness adapter ( access from behind your rear control console panel ).
I prefer my lid design ( ’05 )….. Opens sideways…. When open ( and stays open)….. It doesn’t interfere with my elbow when digging inside it.
( Like what Scotty says in Star Trek )….. “Engineers…… They love to change things “ :)
We have new garage doors ( hurricane resistant )….. I chose the LiftMaster direct-drive opener. No crap on ceiling… quiet.
( below is the auto-lock ). Have an outlet located accordingly
( kitchen )……. CAD of cabinets are probably a guess. Get exact measurements of appliances. THEN cabinets are sized to fit like a Lego set. Configure location of GFI outlets…. above backsplash…… or installed through backsplash if it’s high design.
( wall-hung cabinets about 17 1/2 inches above...
I see those windows above the front door ( and rear ).. to be a half-circle at the top…..
My 2-story has a half-circle above the entry and it’s a nice accent for an entry.
“ Inviting “ feel for an entrance.
Contact my friend, Chris St.Amand @ FARMBOY Custom Co. ( 561)-795-2165. ( West Palm Beach, Fl )….. His shop is dedicated to truck suspensions. He’s done some wonderful work on my ’05 Yukon. ( stock height - suspension improvements )…..
He will advise you.
Ha….. If I open it up……. I always clean whatever I work on……. Common sense. Plus you can discover something that needs attention as you clean. ( Was my reputation as I ‘detail’ off-shore powerboats / engine bay before race days … It’s the little stuff that can stop a million dollar...
Funny… You are not alone…... happened to me also….. 3 months after buying my 2005 Yukon ( 6 years ago)….. I had no idea my mirrors folded.
Until i saw posts about the driver side door switches.
