07 tahoe heated washer fluid ?

There was a recall on them and GM issued a $100 check when you brought it into the dealership to have it disabled. My '08 had it done by the first owner so they got the cash and I got what was left of the system... lol On mine they simply cut the wires and taped them up and I think removed a...

Made it safely back to Boulder after a 21 hr day. Left at 2am mountain time and just got back to our room a few minutes ago. Devils Tower in Wyoming Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota For some strange reason they wouldn't let me park the Burb close enough to get a pic next to the Presidents. It...

    Valvoline Restore & Protect experiment

It does have AFM but has been turned off in the tune since about 175k miles. I purchased the truck with 154k miles on it.

Left Moab and traversed I-70 across the "Ike" (Eisenhower/Johnson tunnel) and safely into Boulder, Colorado. There were chain/traction control laws in effect all morning but we managed to come through just after they were lifted it seems so we didn't even have to use the snow socks I purchased...

    Valvoline Restore & Protect experiment

Just to add to this... I have used Mobil one EP for years. My '08 Suburban has 350k+ miles and is extremely clean inside only having that light golden color under the valve covers. I recently switched to the Valvoline R&P just to see what it might do and how the Burb might like it. I did my...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Not only would I, I did pay for them... lol I wouldn't say they are necessarily loud but you can hear them for sure. I don't really remember what the stock ones sounded like, but as mentioned, it isn't like you are folding and unfolding them constantly so it isn't really a big deal IMO.

Merry Christmas everyone! Drove from Page, AZ to Cedar City, UT today. Here are a few pics along the route... Navajo Bridge near Lee's ferry, not too far from Horseshoe bend. Pay no attention to the "No Stopping On Bridge" sign. At Paria beach on the Colorado River near Lee's ferry landing...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

For what it's worth, I bought the Gruven HD mirror motors with the metal gears already attached so I didn't have to wait for epoxy to dry. I haven't had any issues out of mine in all the years they have been installed. No binding, no hiccups. I wish my '08 LTZ had an option to automatically...

Ever play "Where is Waldo?" If you look really close you can spot the Burb in Monument Valley... lol Here is a couple zoomed in... I drove far enough into the scenic loop to get these pics and decided that it was smarter to pay a tour guide than to tear up my own truck so I turned around...

No pics of the Burb today, but.... Absolutely stunning sunrise over the Grand Canyon at Mather Point... Pictures, naturally, don't do justice to what the eye beholds, but this is the best we could do. Fueled up in Williams, AZ where we are staying, drove up to Grand Canyon NP, drove all...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

No we did not, this is more of a Roadtrip to see God's beautiful creation, as opposed to man made stuff, so we are sticking to natural attractions. Monument Valley will be Wednesday!

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Took it to Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, TX. a Route 66 museum in Santa Rosa, NM. And ended up in Albuquerque, NM. for the night in front of a little 50's diner for dinner... I think my Turquoise neon underglow matched the atmosphere quite well. This was day 2 of my family's Great American...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I'm not certain how hard these trucks are on the hub bearings. I think the SKF hubs just aren't that good, at least on these heavy trucks. The Corvette guys that do road course racing seem to love the SKF X-Tracker hubs which is why I decided to install them as preventative maintenance back in...
