    Engine Oil Cooler Retrofit

Thanks I have changed it since then and added the factory oil cooler, that is mounted in the radiator, into the system along with everything else. I also ended up redoing the lines as the hydraulic lines started leaking after several years.

    Level’d to 4/4

I didn't realize this was a trick. The drop kit Rough Country sells comes with a 1/4" spacer to go with the grade 9 hardware which they claim equals a 2" drop. The way the geometry is on these rigs a 1/4" spacer equates to 1/2" drop, or lift depending on where you put the spacer.

    Level’d to 4/4

What is the Rough Country shim "trick"??? Your rear suspension should be limited by the rear shocks and not allow the springs to come out.

Fosscore's 2013 Suburban LTZ Build Thread

KYB MonoMax 565039 These are the ones I have installed on the rear and they have the same collapsed/extended lengths as the Belltech drop shocks. They are actually for the front of a Squarebody Suburban, as well as a bunch of other GM vehicles. I am running stock replacement control arms and...

Fosscore's 2013 Suburban LTZ Build Thread

Belltech 4955 offset bushings are not needed and a bad idea as once they are pressed into the arm there is no adjustment. Belltech 4951 replacement camber plates for the upper control arms will give you 1.5° of additional camber and castor adjustment over stock...

Seat heaters on with remote start?

It is based off of the outside temperature. If it is below a certain temperature it turns on the seat heaters as well as the heater. If it is above a certain temperature it turns on the air conditioner, regardless of what the HVAC controls were set to when you turned the vehicle off. When you...

This is what I use. Dry lubrication doesn't attract or hold sand, dirt, debris.

Resolved- '07 Escalade Heat/Air Control Module

I have had good luck disassembling and cleaning the button contacts with a pencil eraser and be back in business. This isn't specifically for the HVAC controls but the window switches and such.

2013 Chevy Suburban lt getting bad gas mileage

Is this a recent development or did you just get the truck? The leveling kit shouldn't affect the mileage that much. You didn't really give us much to go off of, like gear ratio, 2wd or 4wd, maintenance history, whether or not you drive it like you stole it? My '08 with the 5.3l and 4 speed...

Who has the most miles on their 07-14 SUV?

My truck still has all the AFM hardware but it has been tuned out since about 175k miles.

Who has the most miles on their 07-14 SUV?

I believe my '08 Burb is nearing 360,000 miles. My wife daily drives it so I'm not up on the mileage on a day to day basis. James @swathdiver is correct however, we just completed a big trip at Christmas time and she had 354,155 on the clock when we pulled back into the driveway with zero...

Escalade/Esky Full LED 3rd Brake Light Conversion

I believe the newer style is referred to as a "plasma tube" and it looks more like an old school neon tube instead of the individual LEDs like the factory style

Check the plugs at the end of the driver's dash near the fuse box. Wiggle or Unplug and replug and see if that gets it working.

    FRAM Oil Filter

It is certainly cheap insurance to change it every 5k miles but with modern full synthetic oils, NEED is a rather strong word. I believe the used oil analysis backs up this claim.

    FRAM Oil Filter

I regularly run 15k mile OCIs on my Burb with 355k miles, but I also run two Fram Ultra XG8A oil filters and with factory oil cooler, aftermarket oil cooler, and the dual remote mount filter setup and associated hoses my truck holds about 9 quarts of oil. I just today purchased the Endurance...
