    Differences between Generations

'09 was the first year for air conditioned seats, at least in the Suburban/Tahoe, not sure about the Esky/Nali.

2021 Z71 Air Suspension Help Please

Just FYI, the plastic accordian looking dust shields can be pulled off without any issues. I bought an entire set of these air struts and completely disassembled the front ones to modify and install them on my '08 Suburban. I still have the rears untouched if you are interested in them.

    '10 LT A/C issues

My guess is you have a weak compressor. Your low (suction) side pressure is too high and your high side pressure is too low. You didn't mention what the air temperature from the rear A/C was doing. These trucks use an expansion valve on the rear evaporator and they are often more forgiving...

    '10 LT A/C issues

From what you are describing it is short cycling which is the classic symptom of low refrigerant. Buy a can of freon with the little gauge attached and charge it until it is in the green. Compressor should stop short cycling and you should have cold air again, assuming there are no other issues...

    replacement dash ?

Mark @Rocket Man swapped the dash in his Silverado for the LTZ dash out of an SUV in his bagged and bodied Silvy. The info is probably in his build thread on here.

    Shocks for 2/3 springs

Is it bottoming out in the front or just the rear? Did you do the free travel mod out back? If not that is probably your issue.

    Scan tool needed for suspension

Just to add to the confusion... I bought this one about 2 years ago and it has been great for everything I have ever wanted to do with it. https://a.co/d/064zblW6

    2004 6.0 NV4500 Tahoe

@Tonyrodz I'm just giving you a hard time, I have always liked the Fox body mustangs. Those came with the long runner intake manifold, like Fords version of a Tuned Port Intake (TPI), they made lots of torque.

    Vehicle Dies During Driving

You said you replaced the purge solenoid due to charcoal pellets migrating through the system. Did you blow compressed air from the purge solenoid line back towards the charcoal canister with the line disconnected at the canister? If not, there is a very high likelihood that pellets will get...

    Build thread - LMG 5.3 to L96 6.0 swap

Flashing a different OS will brick the PCM. Although I have read that doing a "Write Entire" will allow you to change OS without issues, I have never tried it myself. Basically what needs to happen is you would pull the L96 tune file and do a "Compare File" with your original LMG tune file. The...

Reduced engine power no DTC code

Sounds like you need to read the ECU with something like HP Tuners. With it having a cam and lifter swap and LT headers there is no telling what was tuned in the ECU, but I bet something would show up. With HP tuners you can turn individual codes off without affecting others, so saying that the...

Kbuskill's 2008 Burb LTZ "MOD" Thread

The one's I have available are the Magnaride struts for the 2021+ trucks. Fronts are just the bare struts, rear are complete struts with the air bags and everything in tact. I'm not sure what they are worth but I know they aren't cheap to replace. The guy I got them from owns a custom shop and...

Kbuskill's 2008 Burb LTZ "MOD" Thread

So I have been working on something for a while and haven't mentioned it until I knew it was going to work out. Several months ago I noticed that the 2021+ Escalades and AT4 trucks have air struts at all 4 corners. The fronts looked to me like they would bolt right into the front of my Burb...

    EVAP Charcoal Canister Removal Modification

I'm not certain that you can turn the purge valve off in the tune, perse. You can, however, tell the ECU to ignore all codes associated with the purge valve and not illuminate the MIL light and then just unplug the purge solenoid.

    EVAP Charcoal Canister Removal Modification

If the purge valve is sealing properly then it is it's own "cap", assuming you tune it to never open. Or you could remove it and cap the hose, or go all the way back to the tank and cap it there. So many options.... lol

Adding an aftermarket radio to 07-14 FAQ

Maestro RR and any aftermarket headunit you prefer. I was running a Kenwood with the Maestro before changing it out for the Phoenix Automotive Headunit and the Kenwood setup was flawless. RSE, Bose, steering wheel controls, etc. The Phoenix looks good and I like the big screen but the...

    Rear spring spacers

It would still provide lift, if that is what you are asking. The difference being the upper pocket wouldn't allow the spring and spacer to become dislodged.

    EVAP Charcoal Canister Removal Modification

No reason to vent it as there is already a vent solenoid on the tank. You could just cap it off under the hood where you disconnect it from the purge solenoid.

Install heater hose around the bottom and top coils on the springs or install a spacer on top of the spring instead of the bottom.

[SOLVED] 2012 6.2L Yukon Denali XL 172000 miles? Need help and cannot figure this very random problem out.

I had the same issue when I installed a Cold Case all aluminum radiator in my Suburban. In my case the radiator doesn't have a restrictor in the port where the small hose attaches to the passenger side end tank and goes back to the thermostat housing. This allows to much water to by pass the...
