What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I don't think it was me but ya any hardware store will have various size/thickness of foam padding insulation, etc. basically weatherstripping. if they don't have the size you need you can cut it down or double it up, either way.... beats a $100 "part" from the dealer.

Oil out the exhaust & codes

may as well take that "standard" motor part and throw it in the garbage can. If it has not failed yet it will in short order, junk parts brand just my opinion

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

one of the differences is you are reading external vs internal on the transmission temp, regardless the temps look accurate enough without a thermal regulator it's going to be all over the place regardless. I have seen mine go as low as 80deg in below freezing weather, that was on a road trip...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

no, when you brake it automatically downshift then you can let off of the brake and it will/should hold the gear for a good while, unless you brake more or accelerate more

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

the transmission grade braking feature doesn't hurt anything all it does it is hold the gear instead of downshifting, it's a nice feature and helps save the brake pads from overheating resulting in loss of brakes, it's something you will appreciate on a steep downgrade

    2018 Tahoe TPMS Sensor

You have to rotate & RELEARN the sensors at the same time, it doesn't work by just moving the wheel around. It needs to see the new positions. then see what happens.

    2018 Tahoe TPMS Sensor

L87 Failure - Taking formal action

all I can tell you is GM's pockets are much deeper than your's. good luck, perhaps join one of the class action lawsuits and see how it plays out. Spidey sense say's not good your probably better off grinding off some metal and throwing it in the oil fill tube and then go drive it till it sh*ts...

Can someone help identify his grinding noise?

Probably a loose heat shield, you can get under it and star tapping around with a rubber mallet there is various heat shields, check them all it's all about using your eyes and ears, should be easy to find

    Truck Dash in an SUV

you just pull the console, replace the center cover on dash and put a front bench seat in. some of the LT base vehicles came with a front bench and seat 9 passengers. knee room is no issue unless your trying to fit 3 big guys up front, the middle hump for transmission is always going to be a...

lift gate on my 2011 Tahoe wont open

I hate all the new nannies, I turn them all off because they do not like how I drive. I am a aggressive driver and the sensors are not compliant with me at all I do leave the traction control and stabiltrac on 99% of the time, but when you drive on the sidewalk or a curb they don't like it much...

    2017 heater core tee’s

the k2's can use them. there just swapped position, dumb gm idea. all they did was angle the metal lines opposite of how they have been the last 15 years.

    2017 heater core tee’s

The 2015+ can use the SAME connectors as gmt800/900, the catch is the position is swapped, so your black colored one will go where the white colored one is, and the white one will go where the black colored one is. otherwise due to whatever reason in the gm supply chain the only way to get them...

Can The Water Pump Pulley Be Replaced?

the system is set to 15 psi and temp is regulated by the thermostat, flow doesn't really matter, well it does but if increased it's just going to run cold and throw codes unless you tune it otherwise if it is overheating then either it's clogged up or something has failed. optimal temp needs to...

2025 high country rustling noise above 80moh

agree it's probably a loose piece of trim/bumper/cover/siding, mud flap, etc maybe even under the vehicle. check all the exterior pieces, push and pull on everything. check the roof too AND if you installed anything 3rd party like a bug or window wind protector those are infamous even...
