    the visor could be the problem, it's 3 screws on the upper left corner pop the cover off, it's 3 screws and the harness is right there alternatively compare those readings to the passenger side. * readings may or may not be the same, there basically on the same circuit.

    If it were me I would probably just throw a OEM thermostat at it, there easy. then if the problem persists do more deeper diagnostics certainly won't hurt to try. just grab a gallon of 50/50 mix (dexcool/compatible) to top it back off afterwards, no need to drain the whole system.
