    In CA and NV they put them in most cars, I think it’s a upsell and insurance thing. @nomech you need a light and to get in ur back, they are usually zip tied up towards the fuse block. Even though you refused activation the stupid thing maybe in there and blocking your OTA… I’d guess dealer...

    @Sundancer i think the reason GM told you that is because the vehicle comes with a 3 year / 36 month bumper to bumper warranty (although in 2020 it may have been different) the other warranty is for smog or rust.
