    They improved mine significantly over the Belltech springs but I also have the OEM Z55 shocks, which were all new and my front springs were brand new OEM. I do not like the fell of aftermarket “replacement” quality parts.

    No hog rings on these, plastic clips embedded into the foam. They can break though so be gentle when releasing them. Either of those are what attaches to the cover to the cushion. The cushion and and cover come out together and then you take them apart.

    I wouldn’t say GM is any better quality than those “shitboxes” you mention…. Those codes are almost always for very slightly skewed oxygen sensors if you have no intake or exhaust leaks. Very rarely the bank of injectors setting the code but unlikely since you have both banks setting the codes.
