And Holy Shnikeys are they LOUD! Already had someone on my ass this mornin and I hit that horn... they immediately backed off a good four car lengths. Now just waiting for the next jack wagon to cut me off. To see how effective it is on the front.
Yeah I do plan on making a remote location for the filter. This was just getting everything mounted up. I still have to run the wire and air lines. The splash shield is a good idea too!
Yeah a spare does me no good. Deleted the spare tire, hoist and cut out the mount for the hoist to make room. These horns were bigger than I expected lol
You can also make your own.
1. Cut down your metal antenna to the size you want.
2. Slide a piece of heater hose over it, whatever thickness you like and just short of the the height you cut the metal antenna down to.
3. Slap a vacuum cap on top. Hints why the hose should be a lil short than the...
Yeah I hear ya, Maybe use a heat gun to reform what you have and a plastic welder(soldering iron) gently if it has any rips? Since the shaft is traversing back and forth the rtv may stick to it as it cures and could possibly cause more damage by tearing OR maybe it’ll break free and work as you...
Got my compressor and 3gal tank installed... started hacking away at metal to make room for these gargantuan horns from Hornblasters... hopefully the rest of the install goes smooth but had to take a break and celebrate my baby girls 4th Bday! Get back at it later tonight and depending how...
I didn’t get one with these. They were a horn only “open box” sale item on Hornblasters.com. I have a 200psi compressor with a 3 gallon tank that should be here today.
Welp, a lil bigger than expected. (That’s what she said... I wish lol) jokes aside got the streamlight for reference. These things are huge! Hornblasters for the win.
Just cross reference the part number through Napa or advance etc to verify it’s the right compressor. The only thing I have to add is that once you introduce air to the accumulator the desiccant bag is going to start soaking up the moisture in the air. Once it’s saturated then putting a new one...
its an 05 so you should have electric fans. Have you checked to make sure the condenser fan is kicking on with the a/c. Your symptoms in stop and go traffic are pointing at air circulation issues to the condenser.
All the resistor is doing is supplying different amounts of power to the motor. I’m actually very surprised with your findings considering it didn’t change with fan speed.
