    Help and Suggestions with suspension replacement

    Do people run dual shocks on these rigs? I think you could double shocks and go sway bar to make this ride like a sports car...if that's what you're looking for.

    axle wrap?

    When I had axle wrap (on a 4x4 jeep without lift blocks) I tried springs and a weak bar. They didn't work. The bar broke. I eventually had to go with a full on anti wrap bar mounted parallel to the drive shaft. It was crazy how much my pinion rotated. The springs ended up bent a little.

    2003 Chevrolet Tahoe Stabilitrak/Traction Control Question

    I have this on my Escalade and end up turning it off sometimes. Do you want it so that it makes your tires spin less on ice? Does it do something else I'm not aware of? (Like computer controlled braking to simulated a locker as on an FJ)

    How do you like the 740? I had been commuting in a 528 and am looking at 745s and 550s. Have you had any trouble with it? Accelerate and handle alright?

    02 5.3 Escalade. 16.5 average in last 3K miles. (I have 147K) I can get 19 if I drive speed limit on highway.

    What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

    It is 14 degrees here. I bought my Escalade a month ago. It has never warmed up. The heater rarely works. I just replaced the thermostat. It was simple and easy to do. 187F is not too cold. The heater works great. I can now look forward to my 5 degree commute Monday morning.

    On other vehicles, not running when low on gas is a fuel pump failing symptom.

    Just spent around $60 to swap out my fluid in my 145K Escalade. I'm glad I did it. It really only too about 20 minutes. I used a brass fitting and a clear 1/2" hose from my fish tank.     The benefits of correct air pressure

    In the 4x4 community (where we have much larger and wider tires) we do the chalk test to determine proper tire pressure. It usually ends up being 12-20lbs. What do you run on your truck? I just bought an Escalade and they look low. Hit them with 32 and call it good?
