    Need advice on shocks!!!!

I have not yet put my lowering springs on. But after a pretty decent trial and error period when i bought this tahoe a few years back i found i was most happy with OEM. I know allot of guys will have experience with other brands. But for my highway driving, they seem to ride the best.

    Oil leak?

x2 on the filter. How many miles? from the pictures it does not look THAT bad. I have had trucks that looked worse. I would change the filter, degrease and powerwash. then you will have a clean slate to look at.

    hd hood- question

true, thats probably a safer start than going right to bending. I will give that a shot once it warms up a bit.

    hd hood- question

on the drivers side, i can push it down to contact the rubber stopper. thats what makes me think its just a bit tweaked. If i can do it with just the hood i would prefer. If i raise the fender, then the door gap is off. and down the line it goes..... I will move slow, and not resort to the BFH...

    hd hood- question

weather has once again turned to shit. So i havent even washed it yet. But my question for anyone who has swapped, or anyone who has put on a hood in general. I got the panels lined up. But the front drivers side corner sits just a bit higher. Enough to bother me, possibly not noticeable to...

    Another Need Help Thread...

with it running, in park and cold, see if you can put your hands on the exhaust, the cats, muffler. Check off as many easy things you can first. otherwise you can go poking around with a stethascope and see if you can pinpoint it anywhere internally.

    Another Need Help Thread...

is that constant? under load? i cant tell if thats a tick or rattle somewhere in the exhaust, or if its something flapping around in the rotating assembly or driveline.

    hd hood- question

Thanks man. In daylight, i still am really not sure. The color is close, close enough that i cant tell. If anything, it may be just a shade darker. I think im going to put it on. Then i think it has one tiny hail dent. then i can worry about painting it later in the spring.

How hard is it to swap to leather heated seats in 2007 Suburban LT 2500?

im not sure about the wiring. but if it is in fact there. You would need the control switch on the door, and the heating element. The seat cover comes off pretty easily, and the element sticks right to the foam. I dont remember the cost, but not expensive. I got mine when i replaced the seat...

    Tune Up

i used the delco replacements. Everything went fine, with the exception of i had a tough time getting the new plug to thread into the drivers side front cylinder, i forget which # that is. Thought i had stripped it, but after some patience got it back no issues.

    Barn door alignment

i am not sure if your doors are exactly the same. But on my 04 i seems to get some misalignment out of nowhere. Drove me batshit crazy for a while. i played with the only adjustment i could find, allot. each hinge bolted to the door with 3 bolts, but there was no more than 3/8" adjustment it...

    2" drop springs

exactly, he said the price. i said " im on my way right now". If i had the option for the 3" i think i would, but from what i understand would need more than just messing with keys to get level in front.
