Exactly. I'm going to ask the dealer I guess. I need to go back in for some fixes and it's still under warranty so might as well ask. Mine definitely has not ever braked on its own in the nearly three years I've owned it
Noticed this Automatic Emergency Braking feature in the settings which is set to Alert and Brake. There’s been numerous times my Tahoe thinks I’m approaching a vehicle in front too quickly and it will alert me but it has never auto-braked. Is there any real way to tell if this feature even...
Sorry for multiple replies on two different topics but when you say "shake it" you're referring to the part pictured in the OP? FWIW, I feel like I can duplicate the sound by pressing on the chrome piece that's inside the part pictured. There's a chrome loop which the seatbelt goes through in...
Good question and I'm not sure. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what the mechanism is to remove the headrest, but I'll check it out and report back. I know there's a button the side but that button just seems to lay it down. I have no idea if the dealer has tested this theory or not, but I...
I have this going on currently too which is a separate issue from the seatbelt one I posted about. I've heard a clicking type noise for a while that sounded like it was coming from behind me. After making my wife drive me around so I could determine where it's coming from, I discovered it's the...
Thanks. It’s under warranty and I’ve got to go in this coming week for a software update and other things so I may just mention it to them. I just didn’t want it to be something where they had to take the entire door apart to do it and deal with all that
Noticed a rattle from where the seat belt comes out of the frame in the driver side. Anyone have an idea what it could be or what I could try to tighten to fix it? Pic of the general area attached.if I press a bit on the chrome hardware circled it seems to suppress the rattle
Sorry, no idea how I missed this months ago, but my vehicle has done this since the day. I drove it off the lot brand new. I guess I’m wondering if I should still take it to the dealer to have them listen it doesn’t appear to be causing any issues that I could tell since I’ve driven it for...
My 2022 Tahoe was missing some chips when it was delivered as a result of the chip shortage from covid. One feature that I expected it to have was the vibrating driver seat to alert you when there's cross traffic behind. I thought this was fairly standard with higher end GM vehicles. Anyone with...
I mostly try to keep the captains chairs all the way back to give anyone sitting there more leg room (and to keep my kids’ feet away from my seat) but I’ll just have to remember to move it up when I’m laying them down I guess. I have no idea why they’d design it like this
I was able to track down another 2022 at CarMax today unexpectedly and low and behold it does the same thing as mine which is just absolutely mind boggling to me that the vehicle would be built this way intentionally
Ah yeah, sorry maybe I misunderstood. My issue was definitely more of a clicking noise which you'd expect from a metal clip hitting something in the wind. I did not have a clunk or anything that could be felt as if something large was loose.
Not sure.
Interestingly enough, I just had my Tahoe into service (again) and they offered me a loaner and told me it was covered when the vehicle is under warranty. My vehicle has been into the dealership for service now like seven times (once for 13 days) and every single time I've asked for a...
There's some sort of clip under the vehicle. I don't know what it does, but the dealer fixed mine. They acted like this clip comes loose and blows and hits the undercarriage when you're driving
I've had an issue for a while with my 2022 Tahoe where the passenger side captain chair touches the rear tire well when it's in the all the way back position and laid down. It's leaving marks on the plastic back there. The dealer keeps saying it's normal and even "compared" it to another model...
Drives me crazy that GM does not do loaner vehicles. That alone is enough to make me look at a company like Infiniti going forward. Yes it’s probably more money for a similar vehicle but when you go in for service even if it’s something as small as an oil change you get a loaner.
As of late nearly every time I get in the vehicle after a few minutes, the built-in android system will say “I’m sorry I don’t understand” as if I said “hey Google” to use the built in smart system. Of course I’ve not said “hey Google” nor have I asked anything.
Anyone else getting this?
I’ve noticed that when CarPlay is connected in my 2022 Tahoe and I receive a phone call, if I move the call to my iPhone rather than talk through the vehicle, the radio will continue playing at that point. The problem is that the volume knob does nothing but turn phone audio up and down (which...
I'm pretty sure that it's just calculating based on recent driving habits. For me, I normally drive in stop and go city traffic to get to work so if I've done that for a week and then fill up, it bases the miles to empty on that last week of stop and go driving. However, I've noticed that after...
Yeah, she said GM may approve me going to a collision center where they'd just remove the panel and replace the adhesive and reapply it. But of course, she kept insisting that in doing that it may make it worse. She also kept insisting "it's not that bad currently" which I actually agree with...
