ya unless you can wash your truck in a garage then you have to wait till its warmer out to clay and buff.
but ya if you want a nice clean gloss look buffing is the key. but you have to know how to buff its more a feel thing. if you dont do it right it wont look good.
claying is easy just keep...
i think i mentioned it before that i was disregarding the tire size. i'm on 285/75/16's and stock is 265 so i'm not that far off to make that much of a noticeable difference. they're bfgoodrich all terrains so not as aggressive as a mud tire. they only have bout 35% tread left so they're not...
haha ya i know it may sound like i'm trying to contradict myself (want the truck but dont want the mpgs) but i'm just looking to pick up a few more mpgs. i avg 13mpg so getting up into the 15-18mpg range isnt too far off from me. even if i stay constant at 15mpg i'll be happy. that $10 or so...
i've looked into. i thought $40 wasnt bad at all for the app but then i saw the $150 wireless OBDII connector and thought that was outrageous so def not worth it imo
ya i understand the costs involved. the exhaust and tune i already wanted to do aside from caring about mpgs. i know the full size trucks get bad mpgs but i'd just like to get up into the 15-18mpg range. it seems like half of the full size world is in that range at least. the efan sounds like...
pics??
if you can prep it for paint that would make it even cheaper for a shop to do. since all they'd have to do is paint i then. depends on where exactly it is on whether or not to spot it or do a blend in that area

thats the link to the headlights directly. seem pretty good from the looks and are a good price at $75.
would you guys suggest these and think they're good??
great info to know!! have to see how money plays out over the summer and see if i can get one.
i read thread on swapping in a lincoln mark VIII e-fan and i plan on doing that.
haha people suggested they got better mpg's w/ premium well i decided to try it and ended up getting 9mpg LOL and it was similar driving conditions as w/ reg.
ya forgot about a good tune up. i bought the truck back in oct and it had newer plugs/wires and such but i wanted to do it my self to...
on average i've been getting 13mpg. i travel about 67 miles a day and just looking for some improvements i can make to get up in the range of 15-18mpg. using a 1/4 of gas a day is a bit rough when going to school and not working much. i used to have a 94 s10 blazer that got 18mpg on avg and that...
sorry if i just want to have a clean look instead of the bolts/screws/nails sticking out. never put you down in my post, i only said it didn't look clean. never gave any indication of disrespecting you in any way.
oh and my post wasn't in texting language. as you can see i didn't use any...
ya my temp was creeping up to a tick over 210 then would drop down to the 195 area so i figured the t-stat was going bad so i replaced it. well less than a week later it went back up to a tick over 210. is this normal for these engines to run hot?
gotta love the bumpers on these hoes. my dad has hit deer at 45mph+ in his 94 burban with almost no damage. to a car or anything else the deer would destroy the car. but ya people are idiots when it comes to parking. i see it in downtown milwaukee. not as bad as you describe NY but they have the...
