This is what I did and it started working again. Started the truck, turned off the hands free liftgate open/close in the vehicle settings ran errands then shut the truck off. Next time I drove it (about 2 hours later) I turned on the hands free liftgate open/close and it started working again.
2018 Suburban Premier, as the title says the hands free tailagte stopped working, nothing happens when I kick under the center of the rear bumper. It worked recently but I can't pinpoint when it stipped working. It is enabled in the vehicle settings. Powered tailgate works just fine when I use...

Just had an OEM glass installed on my 18 Suburban Premier, with HUD and rain sensing and it was just under $1200 for glass an labor. Glass was over $700 plus tax alone.
Take a look yourself or have it inspected. If it is the rear main seal leaking the trans needs to come out for replacement. If the rear main is leaking already it will not get better just worse. It could also be the oil pan. I have an 18 Suburban with 5.3 with 97k mile and either oil pan or the...
If it is a Denali most likely it has the Magneride shocks with air leveling in the rear. Look for a QR code on the drivers door jamb to scan and look up all of the options.
On my 22" Snowflakes the chrome at the bead and valve stem hole is coroded, tire shop cleans up the corosin but it happens again in few months. There are few solutions, new wheels, refinish current ones or convince the tire shop to use bead seal which most refuse to use since it amkes it more...
As far as I know the 2015-2020 PPV brake pads are different compound, maybe slightly harder rotors for severe duty but nothing else is different. If you need more braking power your options are the 6 piston performance clippers and rotors ($$$$) or the 4 piston caliper and rotor retrofit from...
If you get the factory trailering package with the trailer brake controller you get the 2 speed transfer case. Even Denali's and Premier's came with single speed T-Case if it didn't have the optional trailering package.
Here is a suburban LT with 2 speed transfer case...
There has not been good aftermarket option for the Magride shocks since 2015 for the GM truck platform and probably earlier for the Corvette. So the only decent option id the ACDelco's from RockAuto ~$400 each plus labor.
Magnaride shocks at the dealer are $900 each, RockAuto sells them for about $400 each. Most aftermarket Magnaride shocks are knockoffs and from what I have read on these forums don't last.
2018 Suburban Premier Lowered with Belltech 1019 Kit, . Kit claims 2"/3" but in reality it is about 1" in the front and 2" in the rear. I'm happy how it turned out.
DF 35-5/8" --> 34-1/2"
PF 35-1/2"--> 34-1/2"
DR 37-5/8" --> 35-3/4"
PR 37-3/4" --> 35-1/2"
If you just want to lower the rear 2"...
Check if the shocks were replaced with ACDelco units or cheapies from Amazon? If cheapies then I would not be surprised if they already failed. Save money and take it to your reputable independednt mechanic.
If you do not hear the air compressor running at strat up then it is dead. Common issue. I replaced mine in about half hour without lifting the truck up and mine is lowered 2/3.
