    Bug Deflector / WeatherTech Mats

I can tell you with certainty that it is the GM Accessories mat at fault here. Lined the edges of the carpeting with paper towel. Blasted the firewall area with my power washer thoroughly. Blasted under the truck thoroughly. Took it through a car wash. Pulled off the A pillar trim. Not a drop of...

    Bug Deflector / WeatherTech Mats

Update! I would NOT buy the GM liners. Went out to vacuum and clean the interior. As careful as I was, seems to me that water flowed off my shoes, between the mat and the self adhesive plastic I put down and made a nice puddle under the mat. Ridiculous, I should have known better. In and effort...

    Bug Deflector / WeatherTech Mats

Chevy’s great, except they don’t want to get sued, so the cutout under the accelerator is idiotically large. I remedied that with self adhesive plastic. Otherwise, they’ve been in all winter, salt, mud, water, they work great, good quality material. As for the bug guard, I took it off, wife...

New Here! 2019 Tahoe Project - GM Accessories

Welcome Ryan. Come down to Woodward in August to the Chevy dealers invitational at Memorial Park. I’ll either have my vette or my 1LE there, but look forward to seeing your Tahoe with the accessories

    Appreciate your Tahoe

Bought my Tahoe last July with 10 months still remaining on my 2016 Traverse lease. Knowing my father-in-law rarely drives, I let him have the Traverse until turn-in. Well, the lease ends in about 3 weeks so he brought my Traverse back last night. I’ve had 3 Traverses and loved them all...

    Lug nuts and alternatives

I have these OEM capped ones on mine. Obviously, not happy with these as the caps come loose after a while and look like crap. Any vendor offer a good alternative to these or maybe some of you have a handful of these you’d like to sell me so I can replace my more chewed up ones? Thanks

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Took the wheels off, rotated tires, power washed underneath and wheel wells, dried, reapplied undercoating where needed, used 1200 degree grey bbq paint to give the calipers and hubs a fresh look.

Lowlife's drilling plastic tank & stealing gas, how common?

Never heard of this, but nothing good ever comes out of staying at a motel up north.

    Bolt mod

Hmmmm. Came home from work, manually opened the valve, slid on the 2” automotive hose clamp and tightened it down Not to be a prick, but 0 difference in sound. Just curious did anyone’s car get noticeably louder or a deeper tone?

    2015 Buy Back

Sometimes this happens. Nothing anyone can say will make this experience any less annoying for you. Like you said, take the warranty and see where it goes from here.

I have a 16 Tahoe 5.3. Does this apply to me? If so, is the the same concept as pulling the fuse on NPP equipped Camaros and Vettes? The valve stays open all the time?

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Thanks to a member’s writeup (DWSmoot), saved $80 over the GM Accessories part and got the dynomax 304 stainless polished tip for $22. Perfect fit. March 1st, it’s 15 degrees out. Don’t care though, I’m thinking spring

    2015 Buy Back

It would help if you listed the issues to find out what may be resolved by now. 8speed auto eating itself alive? nope. GM will never admit to it. What are your specific issues? I have a 16, 31k miles, no issues

    GM Accessories Tip

Thanks guys. I’m specifically asking about this GM tip because it’s designed to go over the slanted Tahoe exhaust tip. I’m fully aware that eBay and Amazon have any grapefruit shooter you can imagine, so does every car parts store. But because the factory silencer exit pipe is tilted down under...

    2017 Tahoe hauls ass.....

I too am pleasantly surprised. Let’s be honest, nothing about Tahoe screams speed, but she goes well. Now, to get rid of the 111mph limiter to stop going limp would make it even better

To all new members and all old members of this forum...

I agree Jorge. I didn’t know much about these trucks. Last one I had was an 07 I sold in early 09. All I knew is that the Traverses I kept leasing weren’t the ideal tow vehicles for my toys. So bought one in July and have learned a lot from many of you here. Thank you all for your help and...

Same question I ask to myself should I gotten Denali over a Tahoe

At the end of the day, you have a mass produced car designed by people who have to cut costs and assembled by people who watch the clock far more often than pay attention to what they’re doing. (BTW, I had 2 BMWs and a Benz. Same crap, just hidden better. The only mass produced car I’ve owned...

Those with LS. Do You Regret Not Getting LT or Premier?

I bought a low miles, used LS that the previous owner ordered with several upgrades. Testicular massagers in the seats are nice, I’m sure, but so is all the extra money left in my bank account. My other 2 cars are loaded, but my daily driver LS is just fine.
