What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Haven’t forgotten about your pic. Will gladly do it but it’s raining buckets here for the last 2 hrs. Will post as soon as I can’t go outside without drowning

    Real World Towing

No need to worry. My 3.6 Traverse did the job, the 5.3 Tahoe doesn’t even feel like it’s pulling anything. My trailer is about 1900 lbs, camaro is about 3,900 lbs and the vette is about 3,400. Tahoe went through the PA mountains last August, fully loaded and towing, AC blasting, no sweat.

I looked at the police option, but decided the original looked better on my car. But agreed, you shouldn’t be fooled by the “full size truck riding high” mentality with these trucks

New front air dam. Mrs LT1ZOB found the one curb that was too tall over the winter, so just waited out the crappy weather

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Didn’t do anything to it, but used it to haul new tires for one of my toys. Tires and brake pads, that’s where my disposable income goes all summer long. Lol

Was at dealer no upgrade for Tahoe rst performance parts if I Tune I heard it still stays incomputer

It’s a risk you’ll have to be willing to take. Question is, are you willing to sink in money for headers, cat deletes, cam, upper engine work, etc. If not, an air box and a muffler isn’t worth the gamble of losing your warranty. Even with all that work, what will you gain? Remember, it’s still a...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Cleaning the jambs after the winter muck, noticed the washers around the rear glass strut studs were rusting (surface) and bleeding onto the paint. Took off the studs and washers, soaked in trans fluid and a couple pumps of Lucas red grease for good measure. I’ll wipe them more in a few days...

    Future 2020/21 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

Adding a bit more fuel to the fire: I propose they make the Tahoe full frame for men (hell, throw in the TR 6060 6 speed with short throw too) And they make the Yukon IRS for the ladies. (Just a joke, no need to get all worked up.... girliemen)

    Future 2020/21 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

I bought a Tahoe to tow one car to the track and another to shows across the country. The Tahoe to me is a vehicle that I can drive daily without having a truck with a bed (useless for my family’s needs), and a real full-frame truck when I need it on the weekends. I already have cars that can...

    Future 2020/21 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

Saw the same in Car and Driver. I understand it’s just a rendering, but much like the mid-engine C8, my thought was “glad I have the current gen”. (Sorry GM, the Acura NSX was already redesigned and released several years ago, you’re a day late and a dollar short with that “groundbreaking” mid...

    Going nuts

I currently have two 6.2s and a 5.3. I’ve had LS based motors for years. With the exception of the mid 2000’s LS7s, the LS/LT motor is as reliable as you can get and very easy to add power to. Obviously the 5.3 lacks the power my 6.2s deliver (I’ve done light work to both, both are around 500...

Just curious, how rare is this combo

I bought it with 22k miles. It’s one of the last 16s based on production date. I’m thinking the previous owner did custom order it as it’s just an LS but with 20” wheels and several other options that shouldn’t be on the base LS.

Just curious, how rare is this combo

^^Thank you Sir, but honestly not fishing for compliments. Just wondering. I’ve owned many cars, but silver and beige is not a combination I’ve seen.

Good God, you guys are harsh. Just kidding, but the seats are beige, not grey. Might be the lighting

Just curious, how rare is this combo

My local dealership said they hadn’t run across one, others have said they’ve never seen it. Silver exterior/cocoa dune interior on my 16. I don’t mean rare as it’s a Barrett Jackson item, it will be my daily driver until the wheels fall off. I just mean rare as in an odd color combo.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Replaced the factory capped lug nuts with solid ones. Don’t get why GM still uses this crap as the caps start moving after the first few times of unbolting and bolting.

    Bug Deflector / WeatherTech Mats

You are correct pwtr, no locks on passenger side on my 16. But the mat is large enough and molded properly, so it stays in place.

Pilot digital brake controller - in my leased Traverse for under 2 yrs. Used it twice to tow (not a whole lot you can tow with a Traverse) $40 shipped. 3 qts of sae 75W-140 high performance gear oil. $10 each. Shipping these might be a problem but pm your zip, we’ll figure it out. PayPal fee...

    Bug Deflector / WeatherTech Mats

Went back to the dealership I purchased them from last November. They reached out to GM. In short, Accessories told us both to go pound sand. Dealer felt terrible, and for a small restocking fee, they bought the mats back from me and chucked them in the trash as they were used. I ordered the...
