I think they’re all coming from the same supplier though. I could be wrong. I just remember the video that was posted in the L87 recall thread early on where the guy tore the 4 mile V engine down that failed and i think it failed for the same reason all the others have.
They are the same exact engines with the same parts….. So all the same connecting rods and bearings from the same supplier that didn’t manufacture them to spec. Google escalade V engine failure. You’ll see a guy doing a tear down of a V engine that failed with only 4 miles on it.
I’ve repaired tabs on like three different rear glass setups, all with the frost fighters tab repair kit and all three glass setups have worked perfectly fine. It helps to remove the glass from the truck. I brought it into the living room and gave the tabs mounts a good clean with rubbing...
I agree it’s sad how insanely unreliable new cars have been the last 5 years…. But people are dumb and just keep spending money on new cars that only last a few years and miles….. so the consumer is shut as much to blame as the manufacturers for putting out crap builds. I seriously don’t see any...
Nope hers was white. Still here in big bear with their huge tree trimming business. She ditched the wagoneer in September of 2024, because apparently it repeatedly had some sort of issue with the rear axle, to the point where the rear wheels would not be secured to the vehicle and the dealer...
I have a long time client of the detail business that traded a 2017 Q7 for a brand new wagoneer in November of 2022, and it had black snowflake 22s that I swear looked and felt exactly like the GM snowflake 22s lol. They were on it in the photo she took of it at the dealer when she was buying it...
Also happened to find an LS 04 the with the exact same LED tails that I’m running, but with a white lens LED wrap around bar instead of a red lens one like mine have. My LED wrap around bars have been flickering for over a year now. Little dark spots where a bulb or two don’t light up happen all...
Replacement cushion isn’t perfect but looks much better. For now. Got a whole custom seat project I’m trying to figure out but still need to get some extra income to pay for new parts but for now I’m happy with my drivers seat. Gave the whole seat including the track pieces a good steam clean...
been kinda weird week. Got more pouring rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Was hoping for some extra hours at the resort Tuesday-Thursday but no such luck. Took off and booked it down the mountain Tuesday and ended up hitting the San Bernardino, Rialto, Fontana, and riverside yards as they all had...
So genuine inquiry based on how my curiosity works. Not trying to argue one way or another or offend anyone just asking. Let’s say OP runs thicker non 0W20 oil, whatever weight that may be, in his new replacement engine going forward. Would a dealer tech be able to know just by seeing oil coming...
Yeah at least it’s just the glass. No damage to anything else. This rain hitting us is just another blow to the already unseasonably warm and dry winter ski season. It’s been rough. Thankfully up in the mountains here we escaped any major flooding, damage, power outages. So far just lots of rain...
Welp…. Merry Christmas….. in three and a half years of being in my current house and parking in the garage literally every day, and being so very careful, I hit my drivers side mirror against the garage door frame backing out this morning to go to my moms house for Christmas Day…. Ugh…. So...
First off, @Biggshawn824 welcome from Southern California from another GMT800 Denali owner! What a great Christmas gift your wife got you! These trucks are so much fun to drive, and so incredibly comfortable! Some interesting information here that I may speculate on. OP Probably has an LQ4 6.0...
I first saw the Helleig sway bars because you mentioned them. I’m saving up cuz I wanna grab those for sure! The mountains I live in have 3 main roads leading into and out of the Big Bear Valley that are standard twisty mountain highways. The main road I use, highway 38, that we sorta call the...
