How often do you think the DelSphere bushings need to be checked and tightened? As a regular maintenance item. Also are you guys adding any additional lubricant to these bushings?
My only experience with rear Spohn arms on this platform has been with the poly bushings and I’ve been pretty...
@WestTxDenali Any updates or progress yet?
We getting close to a start up vid?
You sticking with OEM exhaust manifolds and throwing some long tube headers on this bad boy to breath? Details on the exhaust set-up?
Well one thing that's very apparent from your headlight dissection is GM definitely went with the form over function concept for the '21-'24 Yukon LED headlight; Like you said such a sad reflector design for LED chips. Having driven a '21 Yukon XL SLT for 3 months the headlight output left a...
My window rolls up and down fine, but the glass is loose in the track. When the window is down it rattles in the track when opening closing the door, it's made contact in a few small spots and messed up my window tint.
I haven't yet actually removed the interior door panel to inspect it.
Thanks for the response @91RS ; Was really hoping to get my hands on a new GM OEM part, but used may be the only option. Rockauto had a Dorman 751-700 on closeout for $100 yesterday, but somebody scooped it up late last night or this morning.
I did notice that there are different connections...
This is incorrect and your dealer is misinformed. It's really unfortunate that this type of misinformation comes from GM dealerships to customers.
My wife's '19 Escalade ESV can switch between normal "traditional" cruise control and adaptive cruise control. This very well might be an Escalade...
I know this is an old thread but found it searching for alternative window regulator part numbers and brands for my '13 Escalade ESV and bumping for clarification.
I need to replace the window regulators on both the front driver and passenger side doors of my '13 Escalade ESV. I do have one...
I really like the look of the 305/45R22 especially when lowered or at least just the rear lowered and stock front. Have always been considering this tire size with the vehicle lowered there just isn't enough info on the forum or web of many people running 305/45R22 on lowered SUV's. Plenty...
Why did you have to get both the autosync gen2 AND a license from Custom Calibration Engineering?
Also does the autosync gen2 device have to remained plugged into the OBD port at all times? Or do you plug it in make your adjustments and then you can remove the device?
I'm 90% the drivers side motor mount has failed on my '13 ESV. Was starting to see some fluid leak onto my driveway which looked to be coming from the front diff potential power steering pump area. This coincidently occurred after doing some fluid maintenance on front diff, transfer case, and...
As @fozzi58 stated above it's no secret that larger diameter wheels are heavier than smaller diameter wheels; If you want large light weight wheels there are options, but it costs a lot of money. You're really talking about the differences between wheels that are forged aluminum versus cast...
This set-up looks great @fozzi58! Glad to see the bushing sleeves you had machined worked out better; Having all new sleeves machined vs. inserting a sleeve into a sleeve made all the difference I bet.
Really glad to see Wilwood came through for you on some new rotors and pads at no charge...
These are all great questions for the lemon law attorney you signed on with. You’re attorney should be more than able to layout clear expectations on all these items you’re inquiring about.
To be honest if your issue is only happening twice a month it’s no wonder the dealer is unable to...
@everytrueson Where are you located?
I ask because if you live in an area that gets snow/ice conditions and you have to clean off your vehicle/windows I would take that into consideration with either the vinyl wrap or trim illusion overlay option.
There's a lot of great benefits to forged wheels compared to cast; Definitely offer a weight savings especially when considering rotating mass.
Will you have the option of running them without the center cap that covers the lug nuts like in the first picture? AND with the optional center cap...
I knew the L87 DFM had different operating configurations than just V4 and V8 mode; but didn't realize it could be any number of cylinders with seventeen potential firing orders. That just sounds like an overly complicated system.
This is not accurate information.
All 2015-2020 K2XX SUV's with the 6.2L V8 are the L86. The L86 has Active Fuel Management (AFM); 4 cylinder mode.
The 6.2L L87 was introduced in 2019 but only for the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado models. The L87 was not used in the 2019-2020 GMC...
Thanks for posting this and what solved your issue.
The power retractable running boards are definitely a love hate thing. IMO they look so much better than the standard fixed running boards when they're retracted and not in use. Additionally, I find them to be significantly more functional...
I thought I noticed that in your video. What's odd is when you have the hazard lights on I don't see any hyperflash, it's only when you were using each turn signal individually; 3 normal blinks then hyperflash.
Do you think it's because the LED DRL/signal strip you used is drawing different...
