Looking to move on from an Excursion

For the GMT900 Escalade the leather only gets better for the highest Platinum trim models. The leather in the base, luxury, and premium trim is similar/same as what you get in the Suburbans and Yukon XL’s. With exception to some of the leather seats are more perforated than others for...

    Radio recommendations... Again...

I’d really like to find something for my ‘13 Cadillac Escalade to add Apple car play and a radio/nav unit that doesn’t make the interior look so dated, has an easy user interface, and maintains all factory functions. I like these units here...

    Any 200,000+ rigs here?

@tuffguy23 Thats impressive. Give us some more details: Original engine and transmission? Do you have the 6 speed or the 8 speed transmission? How often are you changing your transmission fluid & filter? Engine oil change intervals? Have you had to replace any major drivetrain parts...

58k on yukon denali xl and front shocks are gone

Do not recommend mag delete options… If you go cheap you’ll get the exact ride quality that you pay for. You are essentially “tricking” the OEM electronic suspension system which creates its own risks and problems. You’re essentially taking an engineered active suspension system and reducing it...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Tried something with the LED fog light bulbs in my ‘13 Escalade ESV. Was doing some reading and found that the H10 9145 OEM bulb size is the same base/socket as the HB3 9005 (high beam) bulb. Bulb on the left driver side is...

New baby, Might have to sell the Tahoe already

But it is. See post #29 above. Now it sounds like you’ve got more than one reason to use post #29. Then just place the screens in a safe place and reinstall them in 2-3 years. It’s a way easier better financial decision than the trade in option.

Are LED Headlight Bulbs Worth Upgrading To? Seeking Real World Advice

There are a ton of options for upgrading your headlights for increased light output, performance, and life-span/reliability all ranging in price, performance, and ease of installation. You should think about answers to questions like how much $ you’re willing to spend, how much you’re willing...

GMT900 SUV Converting Oil & Trans Cooler Lines to 6AN & 8AN Braided SS w/ AN Fittings

My vehicle is a 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV AWD. That being said I believe this process and part list should apply to all GMT900 SUV’s looking to make this conversion. I'm creating this post because I searched high and low on the forum for a parts list of the lines and fittings needed to get this...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

The creaks & squeaks are gone from the front suspension so I feel like the ball joints were the culprit. Thanks @Charlie207 Admittedly I wasn't too sure on how much grease to put into them and probably did over do it. I kept slowly adding more pumps until I could visually see the boot expand...

2000 Tahoe w/ 6K Miles and Supercharged on eBay

Look at this time capsule! The condition of this thing is impressive! When's the last time you seen a leather drivers seat from this generation that looked that damn good...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Been hearing some squeaks & creeks from the front suspension. So hit the zerk fittings on ball joints in my Mevotech TTX control arms with some red & tacky. Did both driver & passenger sides upper and lower ball joints. Some squeezed out of my upper driver side which I wasn’t a huge fan of...

Does Your 21+ SUV Hold Any Sentimental Value... What's Your Story?

Not related to ‘21+ GMC SUV’s… @ProfeZZor X The first car I bought on my own with my own money was an ‘02 WRX, 2 yrs later I traded it in for an ‘04 STI. Great fun cars in their time for year round use, midwest winters, and snowboarding road trips.

    2021 Yukon Denali Repair Help

Are you saying even after the tech reprogrammed the modules these issues are still happening? There are multiple “modules” in your vehicle. I would start with contacting that mobile service tech and get a detailed list of which EXACT modules he reprogrammed. I would also share with them that...

New baby, Might have to sell the Tahoe already

Have you tried using this lever that moves the 2nd row seat forward and back? You could try sliding it more to the back towards the 3rd row and se if that gives you enough room for the car seat. This is one huge benefit to the ‘21+ models 2nd row compared to previous generations.

2025 Blend door issue? - SOLVED

Your concerns on the extent of the work and dealer service capability are valid. This type of disassembly can have irreversible side affects on the long term fit, finish, NVH (Noose Vibration Harshness) of the interior. There are so many plastic clips fasteners and hardware keeping these...

Nolathane Control Arm Bushings - How to Install?

If you're inquiring about the front control arm bushings; Post #5 https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/front-and-rear-control-arms-polyurethane-bushings.125654/ The instructions from Energy Suspension for the bushing kit I bought stated to burn/melt out the old rubber bushings. The arms I...

Wheel sensor or something else? [Solved? Not Really]

I'm experiencing this as well with my 2013 Escalade ESV. I haven't dove into trouble shooting it as much as you have, but was really hoping it was just a faulty wheel speed sensor, or chaffed/damaged wire going to the wheel speed sensor as I've read that can be a common root cause of this...

    Help diagnose oil leak

Definitely looks like the engine oil cooler lines just as @Foggy said. The stock lines are known to fail right at the connections circled here: You can see the oil seeping down the lines coating the rubber flex lines and dropping onto the black plastic skid plate. How many miles are on...

Brembo rebuild question on the 15-20 calipers

This is a great question @DodgeDude99. I’m not sure of anyone that has replaced any piston seals etc in the GM Brembo brake upgrade calipers. You could try contacting a GM dealership parts department to see what they say? I’m pretty sure there are GM part numbers for the calipers themselves...

Who has the most miles on their 07-14 SUV?

I’ve got 188K on my ‘13 Escalade ESV; 2nd owner purchased Cadillac CPO with 22K miles. Been following the severe maintenance schedule since we’ve owned it. Plan is to push it to 300K+.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

That seems like a pretty good price. What % tint did you use on the front 2 doors compared to the to the windshield, sun roof, and rest of the truck?

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It appears to be just clear coat damage. If you wanted to DIY there are products to strip off the damaged clear coat and get down to a bare metal rim and then go from there to refinish. I got a guy local to me that will chemically strip wheels down to bare metal and powder coat a set of 22”...

I want some rumble... I think...

The stock exhaust on your 5.3 Tahoe is 3” diameter which has a lot of muffler options. I swapped in a Corsa 3.5” muffler on my ‘15 6.2 Yukon XL Denali and left the factory resonator in at the end and it was perfect! The resonator at the end made the tone more of a Corsa “Touring” vs Corsa...

Show off your 2015-2020 lowered tahoes and yukons

@Ericdd Your PPV does sit a lot more level front to back than non PPV models. I’d bet you have about a 1/2” +/- rake now if you measured from ground to fender lip vertically through the center cap of the wheel. If you want it lower I’d start with maybe a 2/2 and see how you like it. The rear...
