His truck will go to insurance auction where it's condition will be represented as part of a contract.
If you swap engines and someone buys the truck at auction it will be obvious to them the engine was swapped. The paper trail leads directly back to your friend.
I know it sounds simple and...
Yes I would prefer more ram but no it includes steering wheel controls, use of current back up camera.
Additionally they just released an adapter to incorporate the factory rear seat entertainment system.
I like this improvement but think they may have a newer unit coming out soon as the current...
I live in Michigan, come winter E85 can drop as low as 61% ethanol. I've read about using E85 test kits (glass vial) is there an easier way to confirm the ethanol percentage?
Is there a website that lists when the E85 has the ethanol percentage lowered?
@swathdiver - while searching for a source for E30 fuel I stumbled across this post echoing what you said about E30, thought you might find it interesting.

I don't think we have E30, It sounds like mixing E85 with Premium will yield lower cost than premium and better mileage than E85.
What kind of mileage have you been achieving using E30? Does it mix well in the gas tank?
Thanks for the info!
Thanks for the info!
So far my fuel consumption numbers are mirroring yours; ~ 10 mpg in the city and ~16 - 18 mpg on the highway on E85.
I filled up yesterday at $2.04 a gallon - it was a considerable savings of premium's $3.24.
Today gas prices have risen considerably, the same station...
Premium was $3.49/gallon and E85 was $2.15
I filled up with the E85 and reset average miles per gallon.
It'll be interesting seeing if I get more power and how much fuel I consume.
After filling up I reset the average miles per gallon display.
I found a youtube video by a guy called Redbeard, he installs one of Phoenix Automotive's radios in his F150.
It's not the same vehicle but he shows what it will do and what he doesn't like about it.
I talked with a Phoenix Automotive's customer service rep, asking a few questions. I was trying to find out if the RSE displays and headsets will work.
They scheduled time for me to talk with a tech next week. So far it's looking promising, I'll report back what I learn.
I have no idea, I don't know for sure it'll work with mine.
I found their Facebook page with more info .. https://www.facebook.com/PhoenixAndroidRadios/
I'll update when I get a reply from them. I'll try to find out which GM trucks they have radios for.
I've been searching for a possible Android radio to update the factory radio in my 2014 GMC Yukon Xl Denali
which came with the infotainment and navigation radio. In this search I found Phoenix automotive, who seems to produce upgrades that use a larger screen and incorporate things like...
My Weathertech floor liners are not slick. My Yukon also came with the Weathertech cargo liner and it keeps most items from sliding on the floor. I think if you clean yours the slickness will go away.
Glad your wife is OK, hope she doesn't have any long term injuries. Your truck did it's job and protected her! Getting Weathertech floor liners with your new truck is fortunate! My new to me 2014 Yukon XL Denali came with them too and I love them!
Yes, just a few weeks in now and we're loving it.
Between cub scouts and my kid's friends we are really enjoying the added space.
Love the growl of the 6.2 ....... trying to decide if/when to AFM delete and tune it.
I made the mistake of watching videos of te 6.2 with a supercharger! ;-)
I couldn't find the problem, contacted the Texas dealer I bought it from and they had me take it my local GMC dealership. The GMC tech reattached a cable and fixed it so it won't come loose again. Problem solved!
I just bought a 2014 Yukon XL Denali that has captain's chairs (bucket seats) in the 2nd row.
Yesterday I folded and stored the driver's side seat succesfully, then unfolded and I thought latched back in place.
Last night my son advises me the seat won't recline. I tried and it won't recline...
